I am teaching the 3D technique here in Dayton and the lesson is available from Down Home Dreams. Just email me and I'll get back to you. louchilds@earthlink.net

I should have the lesson and designs on my site soon. we are still making changes to some of the designs right now.

I love to make the embroidered quilts but my first love is still patchwork.

I have very bad arthritus and got so discouraged that I can't do the hand quilting that I love to do and teach. I just quit doing any quilting at all and got into machine embroidery.

Several years ago, I was at a conference where Elinor was teaching and she encouraged me to get back into quilting. She was right as usual. I find that it doesn't bother me nearly as much that I can't do something, I just find a way around the difficulty. I am making custom embroidered quilting designs for my wallhangings. that is fun and makes me stretch my imagination.

eleanor was certainly right to encourage you to get back into quilting and how wonderful that you have been able to open up this door for your talent

I'm north of Cinti - where do you teach and what is your website?
