This is my granddaughter's first project with me. I had hundreds of sample 5" squares and she put them in the order she wanted them. I sewed them together and she clipped them apart. Then she had to have some horses in it, so that's what we used for the border.
This next one is one I made for my cousin. After her mom passed away she found all these blocks. She didn't know what to do with them, so I said send them to me. It was quite a challenge since they were all made out of poly and different sizes. Put a picture of her and her mom on the quilt and embroidered some flowers. It was fun to make.
My aunt was Worthy Matron of her Eastern Star Chapter last year. Made this little wall hanging for her. Her religious theme was praying hands and her fun theme was cats, so had to incorporate those.
Think I showed these before, but they got buried. I made this up for my son when he went to Afghanistan. Since it was fabric he could carry it around in one of his BDU pockets.

My granddaughter's pre-school had an auction to raise money for the school. I had each kiddo draw a picture with washable markers and then put it into a quilt. My grandaughter's picture is the top left as you look at it. What an artist. LOL
Well that's enough. I have more, but don't want to get carried away. I just know how much I love to see everyone's projects.
