...I did these lovers knots place mats back in Feb..I think..I am wanting to quilt them ...so need advice on doing it...Mind You I am no expert on free motion quilting..so thought about stitch in the ditch...sooo... all comments appreciated LOL

How about in the ditch with your walking foot and then another 1/4 inch outside of that for a echo effect???

They are very pretty. I also vote for stitch in the ditch and echo quilting.

Beautiful placemats. Did you use a particular pattern? I would love to try these and I agree with Evie and Tiggersmom about the stitch in the ditch.

I say in the ditch and then see if they need any more quilting and go from there. They are so pretty!
