pattern for tumbling blocks?
Can anyone tell me if Eleanor has a pattern for strip quilting a
tumbling blocks pattern. Or how about attic windows? Would love to make one but they look difficult.
Looking forward to the book sale tomorrow.

Hi judyincary,
Welcome to the Forum, I am happy to meet you and am glad you joined us! Hope you will be an active poster.
Eleanor does not have either Attic Windows or Tumbling blocks. I'm so sorry, she just has never tackled these patterns . . .yet! lol

I can see the next project for her, Linda.... and we'll just all sit there with our jaws on the floor, thinking, we encouraged this!

QIAD Linda - I know how El would do Attic Windows - she' make the window frame's 45* angle the same way she does borders - by folding under at the corner and then blind hem stitching the angle. What do you think?

There is an easy pattern for tumbling blocks in the Square in a Square book called Advancing on II by Jodi Barrows. One of her teachers lectured at our Expo this year and it looked very simple.
