Yes, I will pray for you. My husband has just been diagnosed with a cancer and I will tell you how I have peace about that. I read the Bible and think about what God tells me through His Word. Here is a good verse for you to dwell on, even memorize. Philippians 4: "Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again, rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all the Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is praiseworthy think about such things." Read His word and find your peace in Him...he is waiting.

Quiltfan, try not to worry (easier said than done) Trust that the doctors will find the cause. God will keep you in the hallow of His hand. You will be added to my prayer list.

Quiltfan35, I pray that you find comfort in the knowledge that God loves you and that in his infinite wisdom he will guide the physicians that treat you and you find peace. I believe that the Lord sometimes throws things at you to just see how strong our faith is. I know that at times we are impatient and feel a loss of control over our lives when we can not be given the answers right away or ever. My mother used to say that if God meant for us to know everything then we would be God and we are not. Her faith in the Lord is what has guided me through my own fears as I too face uncertainty in my fight with skin cancer. Know that we are all with you and praying that God give you the peace you need so that you do not worry so much.

Please come here often. Don't have any medical advice for you, but I know it helps to talk about it. So, please talk, we will listen. It can be scary at your age. One of my husbands co-workers had a heart attack when she was only 30 years old and had a 3 month old baby. She felt really strange to be the youngest one in her therapy sessions by at least 20 years. She followed doctors orders and seems to be doing really great. Remember to follow doctors orders and to ask lots of questions. Write down all your questions ahead of doctor appointments so you won't forget. Also write down all symptoms as they occur and in what circumstances. Like short of breath while climbing stairs.

Tina: Put your faith in the Lord and know that all the wonderful people in this chat room are praying for you. The Lord does not give us more than we can handle. With all the new and wonderful treatments he has provided our doctors with, it is a much brighter day.

Try not to worry about things you have no control over. We need to put our energies into areas where we can do the most good.

You are in my prayers and thoughts. Please try not to worry and fret. Our lives hang by a thread in God's hands. He has a plan for your life and He is good and merciful.
In the very tough times in my life, it has always been the Lord that brought me to it and brought me through it. He will do the same for you, just ask Him.
