Such a wonderful free feeling! I know that since I have been there. There were very few summers in all my years that I did not go to summer school. Many people think teachers and or students just have a full summer free, but many of us do not. But, now it is relax and sew all I can. We are glad you have finished for now. Great time to sew all you can and enjoy!!!

I'm glad I didn't aquire the quilting passion while I was still in school. I'd have a) flunked out, b) been forced to put my passion completely on hold due to lack of time and money, or c) spontaneously combusted from sheer frustration!
My sympathies to all those in school; I remember how tough it was! There was a period when I had one day *every other week* off, with no work and no school. It was just nuts! Seemed whenever I had time to do something fun, there was no money; when I had the money, there was no time! One of the first things I did after I graduated was head for a library...I checked out a bunch of books and spent the next week devouring them! It had been such a long time since I had read anything for leisure and I was one hungry bookworm!

How do I join some of the groups. I don't really know what they are, but I am willing.
