Maryq, have fun at the cabin. I wish we had a weekend place to get away to, I certainly would have the quilt supplies to take out there with me.LOL My DH and I want to look for a weekend get away and the idea of a cabin had not been on our list. After reading about how you go out there on weekends it has not only been added to my list of things to do but it has gone to the top of the list.

Are weekend places for relaxing, or for doing all the chores we put off in our full time homes? Chores in our full time homes stare us in the face every day and we can "always" do them. Chores for the weekend places have to be done while we are there. I find I am exhausted by the time the weekend is over ... plus I cannot leave the weekend place messy .....good thing the weekend places are somewhere wonderful. We live with the certainty that someday we can go there and just relax! HA.

SueSwan - our 5th wheel is our weekend home. It gets a thorough cleaning inside and out, head to toe twice a year - Memorial weekend and Labor Day weekend. We go up on Thursday night and spend the entire day Friday doing our cleaning. The rest of the time it's just clean the bathroom and knock down cobwebs.
