It is a lovely quilt, it almost looks antique. Hand quilted! What a wonderful treasure. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Very nice - haven't ventured into the wedding ring yet, I think it is a bit intimidating. Where are you in Kansas, I'm in Lawrence

Beautiful quilt. I wish I could see the quilting better. Wedding ring intimidates me - all those little pieces in an arc look hard to do. Yours turned out beautifully.

Lovely, I like to hand quilt and can't wait until the top is finished so I can quilt it.. I think hand quilting makes the quilt. You did a nice job..

Very nice! My goal is to someday make a traditional double wedding ring and maybe even hand quilt it but that might be stretching things a bit. I have teh F&P templates already. I haven't decided on color way yet. I am thinking 30's but I do have some lovely batiks that need to be used in something. I don't know that I have enough variety for the scrappiness that I want. Oh, cool, I can contemplate....

I tried to enlarge it, but didn't have anyluck. This is hand pieced also by a lady that was 80 yrs. young, took her 3mos. to finish the top. Just thought some of you would like to know a little history on this quilt. Guess I didn't say which quilt, the double wedding ring quilt.
Took me almost 6 mos. and five spools of 500yds thread. Alot of stitches, but worth it. And a few sore fingers.
