To get the little emoticon to show up you just hit the alt key, holding it down, then hit a number, then release. It should appear.☼

Sharon Mamaw, I guess I don't take offense to anyones caps, as I too understond the work cap thing, but my place blocks this site!! HOw rude is that. I am hoping that everyone that comes to the community HAS a sense of humor and not take the CAPS too personal!!LOL AFter all ladies WE ARE A BUNCH OF NUTS...BETTER KNOWN AS QUILTERS!!!!!

I thought it was the other way around, Cynluvs2quilt; quilters better known as nuts. Or at least choclate covered almonds. :);

If a post is ALL CAPS, I just don't read it. It's too hard on my eyes, even with a 19" flat screen. Don't like all caps at all. Amie

I didn't know that about caps. I use caps at work all the time.

the shift and alt thing aren't working for me julie.

Is my keyboard broke?
I did hold down the shift and rolled my mouse and omg, my screen changed to about 3 different pages on here.........but it didn't resize the print.......*stomping foot* """stupid computers"""

Don't use the Shift key, just the Alt. Hold down Alt, then a number and release.☺☻♥

Hold Ctrl and roll the mouse wheel the opposite way and it will reduce the size.

Edit: I think I've just confused everyone. I don't know why it works for me and not for others.

Edited a second time because it's the Ctrl key not the shift for increasing the size. I'm sorry. *sigh* I feel like a idjit.

Oh my gosh, I am a total computer dinosaur! Here I was so proud of myself for being able to blab and now I've got to learn all this extra stuff???? Girls, I hear computer talk and my mind goes into its' happy place and all I hear is "blah-blah-blah". Fatcat understands me, she knows!
