Re: I DID IT...I DID IT!!!!
grammy65, I trimmed the backing an inch further than the edge of the quilt, then I just folded it over the edge and tucked it in. It measures about an 1/2 inch. Kind of like hemming a pair of pants.
I used this method on a quilt that I had fleece for the backing.
Look at the split rail fence quilt, it's near the bottom. If you look closely you can see the edge. I also show the back of the quilt.

The quilting you did is really beautiful. People might be tempted to treat it like the front of the quilt!

Thanks Evie...I took a look and it looks great. I'm going to give it a try.
Leetec....here is the front of the quilt. I had posted it before, but it was not quilted then. You really can't see the quilting too well.

So pretty! And I love that Quick Trip pattern! Now you just have to hope for a cool day to snuggle under it.

gmaann....it's going to have to be pretty cool that's for sure. But it's going to England and I think it gets pretty chilly in the winter.

Tiggersmom...I used a pantograph from Willow Leaf Studio by Jodi Beamish called Angel Wings. To me they look more like butterflies though. It's a fun panto to do on the longarm.

I need to try again to post a link. Maybe I can't do it when I'm editing a post. Let's try it again
www.willowleaftstudio.com'>www.willowleaftstudio.com
That doesn't seem to work when you click on it, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
