How does your day start?
I have to tell you all that the first thing I do in the am is turn on the computer, make a pot of caribou blend coffee and rush back to my computer---it's like my fix for the day--almost as good as shopping at QIAD!ROFLOL It's also how I end my day and periodically throughout the day---DS and DH cannot believe how many times on and what I get out it. Wish I could explain it to them so they would understand w/o thinking I've lost my mind!!!
Thanks to all of you who help my day be a little brighter xoxo

Re: How does your day start?
If I don't have to work, I'm here! I can't wait to see what eveyone is up to!
This morning, however, I wake up to my DS telling me that apparnetly the freezer door had been left open (my bad). I have probably 20 lbs of chicken breasts, 3 pot roasts, 3 bags of stew meat and a whole chicken to try to cook and refreeze before it goes bad.
I hope everyone else is having a better morning then me. But it could be worse. At least everyone in the household, and DH in OH, are basically healthy.

1. Bathroom (hate getting old)
2. Coffee
3. QIAD community!
Even when I have to work, that's the schedule.

My day starts like this:
1. Let the dogs out.
2. Feed the cat and fish in the aquarium.
3. Potty run.
4. Grab coffee and turn on computer.
5. QIAD first then emails.
6. Have breakfast.

Re: How does your day start?
I start my day much the same as you, gooseegg! Fire up the laptop computer that's in my "nest" in the living room, start the coffee brewing, and see what's cookin with you girls. Somedays I have time to pop in while at the office, and some days I don't have time....but do it anyway!! LOL! Come home from work and check in. And I like to end the day chatting and gabbing with my girlfriends, too. I don't bother to explain anything to my kids anymore, I'd rather keep 'em guessing about me. Since they left home they like to boss me around and tell me what I should and should not be doing, which only fuels my fire to "act up". They tell me I have plenty of fabric and not to buy more, which results in my immediate online ordering from QIAD!!! They didn't mind me when they were growing up, so turn about fair play!!! LOL! Actually, I'm getting more projects finished now than I did before the forum. It motivates me to discuss projects and especially these BOM's get me in gear and going along. DH works long hours and is very supportive and happy I've found you girlfriends to have fun with, and the kids are off doing their own thing, and Daisy Dog supports me 100%, so this is my time and I am loving it!

QuiltLady57 - you must be younger than me. I have to go potty before the other animals.
CindyB - we must have the same model of bladder - #58 weak
Leetec - sorry to hear about the freezer. I have been there, done that. I have one exception my husband would be busy cooking. I haven't cooked in over 10 years. The kids called me Mama Kavorkian. My boys cook out of necessity.
Have a good day, I am sewing, cleaning, sewing, and cleaning. Two of those might have to go, and it isn't going to be the sewing.

Morning?
1. Bathroom
2. Refrigerator for my yogurt
3. My studio to catch up on life
4. Wake up the 4th grader and get her going with school
5. Math and Language with her
6. Go to work if it's a workday I am so fortunate to have a job where I can be on the internet and be checking on the antics of y'all all day.

Re: How does your day start?
My day normally starts with me pushing the snooze too many times because I have been here too late the night before!!
I am already running late today but have no where to go after work except home so I better go and will give more details tonight about my mornings. That came out sounding odd but you know what I mean!! Have a great day, can't wait to chat this evening.
Happy stitching!!

Re: How does your day start?
I get out of bed at 4:00 a.m. and go to my sewing area and sew until 6:15 a.m. Then I start my day of getting my grandkids ready for school if they are here. If not then I take my time getting going on anything else I have to do for the day.
