Hey girls,

I am going to the cabin tomorrow for the day and staying one nite as I have to be back at work Friday afternoon. It's only about an hour and 1/2 from home. But I do have to stop at a quilt shop that just happens to be on the way! Gotta check ithe cabin out and get the lawn mowed up there, but I'm bringing fabric to cut for some projects and a book to read. Kind of wish I DID have Richard Gere to take along. LOL
May take my OLD machine up there with me, just in case I decide to work on a few Christmas Blocks. Will leave it up there for any other weekend I can get up there. Still hoping to win the lottery so I can spend all my days up there! Yeah right!!!

See you all Friday!

Have fun Miss Maryq. Hope weather is nice for you. Been nice here in Wester SD the last few days, really windy today. But, as long as it doesn't snow, I will be happy.

Cheers!

Happy quilting
Happy Mowing....but not together please! :)

Yeah, we'll let you leave this weekend, you're off house-arrest now. Have a great time while you're there and soak up the peace and solitude. I have always enjoyed mowing the lawn, don't know why, but I like making the "rows" and cross-hatching the lawn. The only part I don't like is emptying the grass catcher. Crosshatching, hmmm, maybe I understand now what it is I've always enjoyed...it must have been the early quilting bug before it fully emerged! Have fun and try to get a little sewing in while you're there!

Maryq ~ Have a wonderful time! Relax and just enjoy yourself. I know that when I go to the cabin I can find the peace that helps to keep me centered no matter what chaos is happening around me. Hope the weather cooperates and you get to have a fabulous "mini-vacation".
Happy stitching!!

Okay,
I'm off!!!! Just going for the day! Have to check the place out, make sure no mice have gotten in. I HATE MICE! Mow the lawn, wash a few windows, swipe down some cobwebs. Bringing fabric to cut and old sewing machine. Not sure I'll get time to sew, as I have to be back at work tomorrow. DARN!

See y'all tomorrow nite!
