Want to quilt with others in Henderson, NV

I am looking for others to quilt with - so as to keep me motivated to finish projects, start all those new ones, use up stash, etc. I let everything else take precedent in my life.

I don't know if any one else is close, but with the internet, you don't have to be. Please join one or more groups here. Peaches is starting a Block of the Month on the Underground Railroad QIAD pattern book, it starts on May 1st. I'm starting one with Egg Money Quilts and it starts on June 1st. If you are interested, please go read those posts. There all sorts of group things going on. Fabric swaps, round robins, etc.

All of us busy bodies would love to help keep you motivated to finish your projects. (Not that we finish ours! lol) We could form an "accountability" discussion on here. We would help each other keep track of what we are working on and nudging each other to finish.

I am glad you have joined the forum and welcome you. We have a lot of fun chatting with each other and caring for one another. I hope you will be an active member and that there is someone on here from your area.

You are going to love it here---I know it's not in your neighborhood but trust me---closer than you think! Can you sit in your ratty nightie, have coffee, and chat to over 2000 quilters about problems you're having and getting the encouragement you need. We're here for you, trust me.

Everyonbe here makes you feel so welcome. I have been to other chat rooms and did not feel like joining in. Here you feel very welcome and find yourself joining in very easily. We were at our cottage for the weekend and I could not wait to get home and tune in to see what was going on. I have 3 pages of messages to go through and am enjoying the trip very much.

Hey Quiltedeb I live in Henderson. I work a full time job so my quilting time is limited but I'm willing to try and keep you interested. We could trade ideas and maybe even get together once in a while. What do you think?

Hi Quiltedeb! I was just in Henderson at a quilt shop back in February! DH and I were on vacation. We love Vegas.
His job took us to Florida though. We had really considered moving to LV. Love the place. Just love it.
Have you been to the shop south of Vegas? Heck of a drive if you've never been to it. But the shop is super nice.
The shop in Henderson is very clean, well org'ed, and the ladies are friendly too.

I've gone back to school. Cosmetology school. It's 40 hours a week for me until November!! So I don't quilt at all anymore.
I get home and help take care of our 2 little girls.
But I still check in once in a great while when I can.
