SUPPER CLUB - Wednesday, Jan 31st

Good morning,
And this about wraps up January! Spring is just 7 weeks away!
Yesterday was our usual fun with Amara. We played with toys, we ate, we chugged a couple of bottles, we napped, and we WALKED! At least I think we did. Two quick little steps. I think her momentum trying to get to Sunny, the cat, kept her upright. It was probably a fluke. But she will walk holding onto my finger with one little hand.
Last night back at camp we started talking to a lady walking by. Turns out they just sold their home in Bremerton (30 miles from us) and which was near my DD's house. Her DH worked in Shipyard with my DSIL. Their DD is in medical school and our friend, a doctor, was her cardiology teacher. She called her husband and he came over and we all sat and talked until long after dark. It is a small world! We are both down here visiting kids who live here. It's nice to meet another couple and hit if off immediately. We need more friends!
TINA - I hope you turn a corner soon. I think Carol suggested getting some hard candy to counteract the bad taste of the Paxlovid or to try tea. Yankee Dip sandwiches are like french dip, only with hamburger instead.
BECCA - oops sorry! I was thinking Frankie but my fingers typed Charlie. Not sure why. Amara gets around pretty well hanging on to furniture but when she really wants to make time, she's down on all fours and crawls and she is fast! What kind of fabrics are you using for the baby quilt?
LORI - I'm so sorry you're going through this with your brother. And your dad. Is your DB older or younger than you? What is his name? I'll add him to my prayer list. Does he have any family besides you and Dad?
CAROL - I hope if I ever have to take Paxlovid I remember yout taste-fighting tips. Thanks!
Tonite we're going to make BLT's for supper, frying our bacon on the griddle outside. Yum! We have a curbside order of groceries to pick up so we'll have fresh lettuce and bread.
What sounds tasty to you tonite?
