SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, Jan 20th
Good morning,
28* this morning. Brrr.... One more morning and we'll finally be above the freezing mark, but not sure 33* will be all that much improvement!
Babysitting yesterday was fun, as usual. We read books, played with toys, and went through a lot of diapers. She wants to walk but just isn't quite there yet. Maybe another month? She loves dancing so we put on some of the best 60's music and danced with her. And she always falls asleep on our shoulders! We passed that tip onto Mom and Dad for those sleepless nights. Maybe it will help. Anyway, we are off for the weekend and then Other GP's come for a visit next week. So if all goes as planned we won't be back in the playpen until Monday Jan 29th. Then we'll have 2.5 weeks with her before we leave for home, Feb 15th.
Today is grocery day with curbside pick-up. Also some cleaning, and maybe a load of laundry since we forgot to take it to Autumn's yesterday. Then I'll be at my sewing machine working on my Cats in PJ's.
TINA - I hope you got your paper issues and phone calls all straightened out. Fortunately (for me), most of those kinds of things fall to Bill at our house. He loves sitting at his desk and is where he spends a lot of his time anyway. He kind of misses work I think. And no, Amara isn't walking yet. But she does walk along the furniture or if she holds onto our hands. Soon though!
BECCA - you are so right about the energy level in raising babies. I feel for A&A. We call them The Kids, but when we were their age, we were already grandparents and babysitting our grandsons exhausted us then! lol! When you say Frankie and company will be home this summer, do you mean to visit or are they moving? Are they orginally from NC? I wish you could see her more often. Do you get frequent reports?
LORI - I sure hope you can find a solution for your dad. I think someone to come in is best for him if it's possible. Keeping him in familiar surroundings as long as possible is important. How is your DB doing?
I'm still working out supper plans. I have a little leftover pork tenderloin left so I'll do something with that. Not sure yet just what. I think I'll shred it with some BBQ sauce and make hoagie sandwiches.
What's the plan at your house?

Good Morning,
Road to California was wonderful. I had a very good time. Unfortunately, once again, I did not get to meet up with Lori. I did meet up with a friend who moved to Northern California several years ago. She was in class with me! We had a great time together. I have missed her.
Maryz - Glad you have gotten to babysit and will get more opportunities soon, meanwhile you get to do other things. Is Bob your friend from Washington you made a quilt for his RV?
I still have things to do this morning to unpack, wash, dry and hang. It is raining here today. I only had rain for a short distance coming home and made very good time on the dry freeways.

Carol, how was your class at Road? Mine was awesome. Learned a lot.
Mary, you have your work cut out for you. lol Once she starts walking, you and Bill will be exhausted.
Glad you are getting to enjoy the little cutie for another round.
Becca, nice of you to share the fabric. I love giving to others that will use it too.
I just puttered around the house today. Even took a nap. It was wonderful.
Dinner was teriyaki chicken and rice.
Sleep well
