Good morning,

Yesterday was a drizzly, breezy day - pretty gloomy until late afternoon when it cleared up and we were finally able to sit out for a while and enjoy the sunshine on our backs. Earlier in the day I mended Aut's duvet cover. Two big rips and lots of little ones plus "poke holes". I gave up on the poke holes. They live (and sleep) with three cats! It was pretty threadbare so we ordered them a new one for Christmas. This morning we have pictures to be taken in a park. Then we heard a rumor that we might be back at our babysitting job for the afternoon. :D

TINA - oh, that massage does sound a lot like a lymphatic massage or something similar. When is your next one? Wouldn't it be awesome if this is helpful to you! How neat to have the deer in your yard! Unless they are eating your plants of course. The last time we were at the kids there were 5 deer just across the lane from their front yard. Deer here are half the size of the ones at home. And they are EVERYWHERE! Even here in the RV park. You've never heard of chili over baked potatoes? You're missing a tasty treat! And if you want to really top it off add sour cream, shredded cheddar, raw or grilled onions, diced chilies, and/or guac.

BECCA - I think your car must be a real gem! And I can just picture sassy you zooming around in that little red sports car! Those were the days! My first car was a 1964 turquoise Impala. I guess it was kind of sporty for a big car. I loved it! I bet you are looking forward to your visit at Denise's and getting to meet Frankie! Don't forget to take lots of photos - especially 4-generation shots. Lara and Lee visited his grandmother in Concord, NC years ago when the boys were young but she forgot to take any pictures of them with their great-gramma! I want to see little Frankie!

LORI - yes, my hair is still blond. And I still don't like it. But I can hardly see it from where I'm sitting so I'm letting it go. It's just hair. But I sure won't be doing that again!! Sometimes it's a good thing to take a break from our craft. I have to say, I haven't missed sewing big projects too much. The break has been nice. But my Fab Farm Fabrics arrived yesterday so next week I'll start that quilt.

It's going to be a nice afternoon - 71* and sunny. So I took a steak out of the freezer. W e'll grill it and bake a potato to share. And I'll make a big salad.

What will you be having?

Good Morning,

Dinner will be Garden Vegetable Linguini. I bought two zucchini at the farmer's market a couple of days ago and will use them along with the fresh tomatoes.

I had a doctor's appointment this week and the results of my blood work were fabulous. Between the Mediterranean diet and exercise I have brought all the numbers down. I feel great!

Maryz - Do enjoy your time with Amara. Sometimes people think you can fix anything but don't see the wear and tear on something they really like. Glad you found another gift to give in the way of a duvet cover.

Tina - How do you feel after the massage? It sounds like you have found someone to help you.

Becca - My DH has a 2015 Impala with 197,000 miles on it. It is still going strong. Glad you kept your car as I remember there was a discussion about keeping it.

Lori - We have all Chevy's too. I drive a 2018 Equinox.

Carol

Becca, I made myself a grilled ham and cheese for dinner tonight. It was very yummy.

Carol, sounds like your diet is working for you. Linguini sounds good too. I get most of my veggies from the farmers market as well.

Mary, How did the photo session go? Did the weather cooperate? I love that you are getting lots of Amara time. I bet she is just the best little baby every. I can tell just by her picture.

I did a bit of cleaning, shopping, and decorating. Now I think I will knit a bit.

Dinner was a grilled ham and cheese sandwich.

Sleep well

Hi all!
Mary, I hope the photo session went great!
I'm not sure if the massage helped or not, my legs killed me all night long. My next appointment is next week, she'll call me and let me know when, it's just 1½ miles away.
Carol, that's fabulous news! Congratulations!!
Becca, I can picture you starting a walking group through the halls 😊
Lori, grilled ham and cheese is a favorite here.
We're getting rain that is icy, it's cold here this evening.
We had leftover fajitas for supper.
