Supper Club. Thurs, Nov 16

Post by purrfect-lady » Thu Nov 16, 2023 4:26 am

Hello everyone,

Yesterday was a quiet day. I stitched some. Bill read and napped. Al & Tina grocery shopped for 2 hours. In the afternoon we did “ Christmas” with them. Lasagna for supper, and an early night. I felt like I was coming down with a cold. Covid test NEG. Feel OK this morning. Today, I will sweep the floor again and we need to re-organize all our storage bins. We dug out a lot of stuff to trade around with my sister and do Christmas. Plus she brought a big box of stuff from my other sister to give me. Now to try to fit everything back in, LOL. It is like one of those puzzles that have 15 little tiles and you have to keep moving them around to put them in correct order

Becca, thanks for the picture of your stocking. I hope you meant to share it here. It looks awesome! No wonder they are requesting another one from you. Will this be for Frankie? And you will get to see Frankie in December? It is wonderful! You will be over the moon. I hope your apartment complex gets their wires uncrossed about the rules of the place.

LORI - you had an awesome day yesterday! What fun! If they are next to each other, is there much difference in alpacas and llamas? I know if they are’t together I don’t know which one I’m looking at.

Tina, I hope you were able to finish your fourth block yesterday. I’m sorry you don’t feel well enough to sew for longer periods of time. If you can manage to make just one December block, it will keep your name in for the year end drawing. I don’t know what it will be, but I think I did hear the words “scrappy“ bandied about. And yes, I'm excited about making TG dinner! I haven't done that in years, and I love cooking for the holidays.

I don’t know much about supper tonight. My sister has a frozen dish she bought. She said it’s chicken fried steak chicken, and mashed potatoes, and a veggie to be named.

Below is a picture of the stocking Becca will be making.

Becca, that is darling. Is that knitted?

Mary, Llamas are much bigger than Alpacas. They are taller and can weigh up to 400 lbs. Alpaca are up to 200 lbs. Llamas can also be used as pack animals because of their size. Both are part of the camel family.
Don't you dare get sick. You need to stay healthy so you can spend time with the little cutie pie.

I'm home. It was a fun couple days. I only brought a case of wine home. Most of it from my wine club over the last 8 months. Now I want to get back to my sewing. I have a few things I want to finish before Christmas, and it's coming up fast.

Not sure what's for dinner.

Have a lovely day.
Lori 8-)
