Good rainy morning! Ugh! The rain just couldn’t wait for one more day. This is our last day on the road. The kids were planning to come to the campsite tonight just to say hi and welcome but if the weather is going to be too awful we will tell them to wait till tomorrow when it’s supposed to be dry.
Becca, the stocking sounds really cute. When you get started, we want pictures.! Sounds as if you have been keeping completely to your apartment during this isolation period. I would think you could at least walk outside during this time, but just wear a mask if you pass through the lobby or hallways.
Lori, thanks for the link. I always buy American made when possible. Loved your quilt and your November lotto blocks. I saw QIAD has templates for Lori Holt’s Home Town on sale today. Are you doing that quilt? I didn’t buy them, but I did buy the pattern for Grande Finale quilt. $7 and free shipping.
Tina, sure hope you find your recipe. I’ve lost a tried-and-true recipe from a coworker 52 years ago. In my early years, it was my “company dessert“, pineapple cheesecake pie. I have completely redone my recipe box since then and still can’t find it.
I think tonight we are going to have fried hamburger in macaroni and onions. 330 miles today in the rain. I probably won’t feel much like cooking. The smart play would be to do the cooking this morning before we leave so all I have to do is pull it out and warm it up when we get to the end of our day. That would be the smart play. Never claimed I was very smart.
What good ideas are you kicking around?
