Supper Club. Tuesday, Oct 17
Good morning!
No one set the table yesterday. I hope no one starved to death.
Our day yesterday started out with mega rain. But we left the RV park in Montesano and made our way to the coast - grand total of 25 miles. We spent most of the day in the trailer. But it was warm enough We could open the door and hear the surf if not see it. We put our awning out so rain did not come in the doorway. Bill read a book and I worked on Amara‘s stocking. There was enough break in the weather for us to get in a long walk. Today should be dryer and we will hit the beach and let Scotty run.
Last night we had macaroni and cheese for supper. I think I will put stew in the crockpot today and let it cook. But I like to set the crockpot on a metal table outside the trailer. I am always afraid appliances will short out and catch fire so if we are not at the trailer, I set them outside. We have exterior outlets.
What are you all having for your supper tonight?

Good morning all
Mary, we sure could use some of your mega rain here, send some please.
I was so busy yesterday I didn't even set the table here LOL I gave Rosie and Duncan bathes, vacuumed and vacuumed furniture, did 3 loads of laundry which also included stripping the bed and remaking it up and cleaned the porch. I was so tired and hurting that we went out to eat and it was yucky so didn't enjoy it. I guess I've given up on my favorite Mexican restaurant; Si Senor. I don't know what they've done but for the last year it's gotten worse and last night was my last chance for them.
I guess I must be from a weird family
I always enjoyed my parents parked in our driveway for weeks at a time and my aunt's and uncles and grandparents loved when we were parked in theirs for at least a month at a time. My aunt and uncle used to park in ours all Winter and I loved that too. I never thought it was invading my privacy, I just felt lucky.

Kevin didn't make it here last night, he had to get a hotel room. The cement company messed up so the contractor won't finish there till noon today. He'll be here tonight though.
I'm making burritos with everything tonight LOL and it's Dad's night too

Re: Supper Club. Tuesday, Oct 17
Good Afternoon,
Dinner was at lunchtime today. We had Linguini with Garden Vegetables and a side of spinach salad with cucumbers and strawberries. Reason? I will be going to Guild meeting and DH has a City Council meeting he wants to go to as well. He decided to stay home and view it on computer. The City Council is discussing the Torrance Airport where DH has plane.
Today basically I got ready for the meeting tonight. We are doing a presentation on being a White Glove Hostess for the Quilt Show. It is time for members to sign up for volunteer hours and we want to be sure to answer questions that get asked. We also want to encourage good behavior i.e. not talking to friends when hostess should be talking to guests.
Maryz - Hope you enjoyed the beach walk today. Also hope Scottie didn't drink salt water.
Tina - Did your son arrive today? Hope you have a nice visit with him this evening.
Carol

Carol, hope your meeting went well.
Tina, sounds like you over did it a bit. Bummer about your Mexican restaurant. They probably changed cooks.
Mary, glad you got to enjoy the sound of the surf. I saw a commercial the other day with a guy from Scotland. He said there's no such thing as bad weather. Buy a rain coat. Brilliant. Get one for Scottie as well.
I've been cleaning and getting things ready for my trip. I leave in the morning. I think I got everything.
Dinner was BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, and zucchini.
Sleep well.
