Good morning,

We are having a last summery gasp today - 78*! What a gift! And I'm going to make good use of it by washing sheets and drying them on the lines. Towels, too. I love line dried towels. I need to hit the grocery store, as well, either today or tomorrow.

Yesterday I finished my four unicorn blocks. Today I'll put them together and piece the backing. This quilt will only be about 62" square - not a biggie. I only have one more small project to finish before packing it all up for Texas - a single 24" block for a big couch pillow. After that I will kit up some more projects that are on my to-do-but-not-right-now list.

BECCA - That's great that Keith and family are coming to visit! They are the ones who lived here for a while and they have four kids, right? And one of the little girls, (Ashlyn?) broke her arm? I really do try to keep track of everyone's family but sometimes I miss a few details. Yesterday while we were walking I was telling my walking friend, Lori, about you and she smiled and said she also admired you and agreed that we needed to lengthen our morning walks! If Becca can do it, we can do it! See - your influence is spreading clear across the country!

CAROL - How did you get your hair cut? I got a shorter cut last May and really like it. Congrats to your hubby for winning the push-up contest! What a feat! So no D-land for you next week? You'd probably rather go when crowds are less, anyway, wouldn't you? Bill likes D-land. He says the only problem with it is they let little kids in.

LORI - sorry your back is still bothering you. I hope it is better soon. Ice really helps. Glad you are still able to get some sewing done. I also find if I don't do my meal prep earlier in the day, I don't get it done at all! That's when we scrounge. And that's what I love about Supper Club. It gets me thinking about supper early in the day so I get that prep done. Most days, anyway. Some days.

And teriyaki chicken on the grill sounds good to me for tonite. I'll ask Bill if he wants rice or pasta or potatoes. And we'll see if it will be salad or a veggie TBA.

Have you got a plan yet for tonite?

Good morning,

Today is my grand nephew’s baptism. We are also celebrating his birthday.

Maryz - I wear my hair in a bob. She did a better job cutting bangs than anyone I have been to in many years. The book of the Christmas story that is being given is for young children. Parents and Grandparents read the book before children can read. I don’t think it’s too early for them to have the felt figures to tell the story.

Not sure what we will want to eat after having lunch out today.

Carol
