SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, July 11th

Good morning,
Our BBQ turned out really well last night. Pork roast on barbie was excellent. Thank you, CAROL, for your brining recipe. It really makes a difference!
Yesterday was a flurry of cleaning/cooking. Now this morning, we'll just finish the dishes, break down the extended table, fold up the lawn chairs, and then hit the sewing room. It's shirt day today. Not my favorite thing to work on, but at least it's sewing and I guess that's the sugar helping this medicine go down. I'll also be doing at least one load of wash - tablecloth, napkins, dishtowels and enough clothes from the hamper to make a full load.
BECCA - the Arboretum will be fun! We went to one in Tacoma when my sis was visiting last month. It's about 100 yrs old and I hadn't been in the last 50 yrs. But it was closing in 5 minutes when we got there! So we saw very little before we were shown the exit. It will be fun to see Levi and family! We need an update on those sweet twins. And I've been meaning to ask you how Frankie is doing. Do you get many pictures of her? She will be four months old soon. And as long as we're updating everyone, how is Mark?
So nice to have a new friend. And maybe she'll lead you to more new friends. Maybe it's our friends that are the gold in the golden years.
TINA - sorry about your leg. Is it leftover from that same injury you had last January? Or something new and "improved"? With meals like you had last night no wonder Frankie loves for Jaz to visit!
Glad you got a little bit of rain. Hope there's more to come!
CAROL - a fabric store and a book store. Add in a good thrift shop and you've got the trifecta! The purrfect outing!
I haven't got a real plan in place for tonite's supper yet, but it will involve cooked pork. Lots of leftovers. We might just do a simple reheat and then start getting creative tomorrow.
Have you got a plan yet?
