Supper Club - Tuesday, June 6, 2023

Post by Quilter7 » Tue Jun 06, 2023 2:32 pm

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Dinner tonight will be Bean and Barley Soup. I needed more Spinach for the soup so just returned. There is a Board meeting tonight on Zoom so dinner is ready.

I really need to baste three quilts and I am waiting for DH to move something. He had the day off Jury duty today.

Lori - Hope you enjoy the wedding. Getting to see family is great.

Becca - Welcome home! Hope the shopping trip this morning went well. I am sure you are meeting new people and getting used to your surroundings.

Tina - The road trip your Dad is planning does not sound good. He has forgotten how tiring a trip can be especially driving alone. Any chance you could go with him?

Maryz - I know you are having a great time.

Jana - Counting the days. It sounds like what you were doing last year waiting for Daniel to move! Hope the missing sewing machine presser foot turns up.

I am going to see if I can baste a quilt.

Carol

Good afternoon!

Dinner is getting close, and I have no concrete idea - most likely Korean beef over rice and a veggie.

Carol - thanks for setting the table. Hope you get your quilts done.

A big thunderstorm just rolled through over my house, again. Hope Lori's wedding is indoors, or have lots of umbrellas handy! It will be very nice temps, just wet.

Karlie was brushing her hair this morning, using a round brush and tangled her very tightly around said brush. Kari was trying to figure out how to unwrap Karlie's hair. First on the list of options was to break the brush. But with some slow perseverance, Kari got the hair undone. Asked Karlie if she's going to do that again, a big no was the answer!

Time to get busy, no sewing was done,
Hugs,
Jana

Jana, we were flying in when the storm came through.
We couldn't land because of the strong winds. We circled for an hour before we landed. The wedding is tomorrow evening at Cactus and Tropicals in Draper. We got here in time to have dinner with the family. It was good to see everyone.
