SUPPER CLUB - Thursday, May 25
Posted: Thu May 25, 2023 6:39 am
Good morning,
It's going to be a nice day today. 75*, they say. Yesterday was running non-stop. I think today we'll relax a little more - maybe sit out at the patio table and play dominoes. Maybe read. Maybe I will sew if the others take naps. We'll see how it goes. We get baby pictures almost every day from Antonio and Bill decided to load them up onto the frame Lara gave us years ago when the grandboys were little. (they are 26 and 29 now!)
TINA - I'm so happy your chiro is helping you so much. Mine is great! Plus he has a few extra certifications in other areas - ortho, neuro, and nutrition. If I am really "out" I am always sore or so after I get readjusted. That's how I know it was a good adjustment, odd as that sounds! I hope your doggies are smelling better today!
BECCA - June 2nd is coming up soon! Things are going to get busy for you! How fun to go visit Keith! He's the one who was here in WA for a while, right? About 1 hr 15 min from my house. The kids must be growing up by now!
JANA - so many big, exciting doin's in your family! Did Kate love that cake?? Sounds very cute! I hope someone took pictures. Any word yet on how Kari's interview went? Two hours to get your HQ serviced isn't too bad. Our Nolting would have to go to Hiawatha Iowa. I'm not sure where there is a service tech near us - if any. But the very few problems we've had, they are good at talking Bill through on the phone. Once we had an issue while a big quilt show was going on in Tacoma and Nolting was a vendor, so two service techs came over to GH to our house in the evening! But as a rule, Bill keeps it clean and oiled so, fingers crossed! We bought it 15 years ago this summer.
LORI - BLAT's sound great! Why did I not think of adding "A's to our BLT's a few days ago. I had them. Yum! Yes, Tina and I are having a good time. I found a few more books yesterday, including two more cookbooks - a Pioneer Woman and another BC book of Bisquick recipes that will be good to tuck into our trailer - where most of the Bisquick cooking happens. I also found several cute onesies for 25 cents each. And one says "Crazy Cat Baby"! Purrfect for any baby in this family! What are you working on in the sewing room these days?
We have a date to meet friends in Tacoma for supper tonite but he is "down and out" with his back so we are waiting to see how he's doing today. If we have to postpone, we'll stay home and grill burgers and heat some baked beans. I would make potato or pasta salad, too, but we've been eating far too much this week.
How is your supper story going to read tonite?
