SUPPER CLUB - Friday, Apr 28

Good morning from Prosser, Wa in SE WA.
We drove over yesterday from the coast. An enjoyable drive, nice weather, light traffic. We are parked at a Boondocker Host’s site. Our first time being a guest after hosting for 2 yrs. We are in middle of quiet fields. Sheep are our neighbors. Doves are cooing, weather is purrfect, our host is a delight. And our club winery, where we are going today, is only 2 miles away. Our host works at a different winery so we’re going to his winery, too. But only those two wineries.
I’ve read all you’ve posted last several days to get caught up
Tina- that’s crazy about your dad‘s truck calling everybody. Did you get it stopped? Figure out why?
Lori, you’ve joined another guild? How far is it to their meetings? How often are there meetings? Is it a large guild? Glad Jack is helping you get your exercise. Such a good dog.
Becca: if your medical appointments or just routine there is probably no point in going when you will be moving in a matter of weeks. I hope you find all good healthcare folks when you are re-settled. Prayers for Gabe today
Jana, what a close call! That could’ve been such a nasty accident. Lucky your angel – and apparently your husband! - were on the job! Are you getting much sewing done this week while you have the batt Cave all to yourself?
Carol, did you get the Tennessee waltz top finished? I know it’s going to be pretty!
I don’t know what dinner will be. Lots of restaurants in town but with the barrel tasting event going on in the entire area at all the wineries, restaurants will be full. So we will either do a very late lunch/early dinner out or just have something fast in the trailer.
We will be on the road again tomorrow, heading for home. It’s about 225 miles. Lots to do when we get home I think empty and clean trailer, laundry, yardwork. Plus, I want to join the May lotto, work some more on OWL, And finish the shirt I have have made and sitting on the work table in my sewing room. Plus, I have some ideas for quilts I’d like to make through the year. My sister and brother-in-law arrive in three weeks and will be with us for three weeks. This summer is going to fly by!!
