SUPPER CLUB - Thursday, April 6th

Good morning,
Looks like we're going to have a wet, wet day here. That's OK. I have sewing stuff to get wrapped up and if we had good weather it would tempt me outside. Yesterday I made my sister a table runner. This morning I will bind it and my blizzard quilt, and start making about 5 labels (and sewing them on). I need to check my list but at the moment that's all I can think of until Bill finishes quilting Hanging Gardens. Then I'll need to bind that, too, while he loads up Cats for me. I will be quilting that one myself. So those are my quilting plans and they should carry me through the weekend. But taking a break this morning to go for a 1-hr massage. It's going to be a long day, waiting for tomorrow. I got to keep busy. . .
Aut's section is scheduled for 1pm, Texas time.
CAROL - that's interesting how you cruised around the country! We get a lot of transplants from all around the country because we have so much military here. Then like our climate and up either staying or returning. And yes, I've been to Sisters several times. Sometimes just for the day and once we camped there for 3 days. We have friends who live in Bend, less than 20 miles away so we've parked our rig in front of their house a few times, too. Thanks for info on Walla Walla quilt show. I am not on very many e-mail lists - mostly because I simply don't want to be - so I didn't know about it. I checked it out, mentioned it to Bill, and later as I passed by his office I saw Walla Walla RV parks up on his computer screen, so a good chance we'll be going! Thanks!
BECCA - what a nice Easter you will have with your DS and family! I LOVE big family doings and sounds like they know how to do it all up right! Moments to treasure. And D&M will also have a great time, too, meeting their new little DGD.
JANA - you will be having a great crowd, too, for Easter. With the possibility of entertainment with the nephew's wife there. Maybe she will go to her family? We finally stopped buying milk at Costo. That problem of things jumping into the cart made the milk just too expensive. For a while we were having it delivered by milkman, but it got to be a hassle having it 'held' every time we went away, so now we just buy it at Freddie's. We're saving hundreds of dollars!
VELDA - glad you both passed your
tests. Both beating! We very rarely eat fast food, but when we do, it's Subway sandwiches. Did you say you're going to your son's for Easter? I'm sure everyone loved your Easter cards, bibs, and lap quilts!
We were going to have meatloaf last night, but I didn't get it out of the freezer soon enough. It was still a frozen solid brick at supper time, so I popped it into the fridge and we had re-heated mac and cheese instead. So tonite will be meatloaf and baked potatoes and roasted carrots. And/or maybe salad. I have fresh salad veggies that need to be eaten.
What's the plan at your house?
