SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Feb 19th

Good morning,
Having a quiet weekend. Yesterday I pieced a few quilt backs. Today I'll do one more and then some UGH-lies - bathrooms, floors, bedding. I'm hoping Bill starts quilting Bigfoot today. We found a cool Bigfoot quilting pattern and he downloaded it to his Q-bot.
Talked briefly with Antonio last night. Autumn is so tired all the time. It takes as much energy being pregnant as a full time job. And she already had a full-time job! She isn't allowed to lift more than 15 pounds. They spent yesterday setting up their crib. Only 5-1/2 weeks to go! No name yet, that we know of.
BECCA - glad you are getting in your walks. Mine have been on hold due to bad weather. My walking partner just got home from her winter travels on Friday, so we'll be hitting the trail tomorrow morning finally. Scottie will be a happy happy dog! Good to hear all is going well with your baby, too! You're going to have a busy week. I'll be thinking of you!
VELDA - a busy few days at your house! Do you tie the ends of the ropes to keep them from raveling and to keep them in place? Cabbage rolls are good. The filling was hamburger and rice. I used to make them in my first life. Haven't now for 40 years. Maybe I will again one day. Your quilt plan is to use the pattern for the Feb blocks? Have you thought about color values? Like having all the center squares be dark or light, next round, light, med? Outer round? You might get a secondary pattern by doing that.
LORI - what a great sounding retreat! What are you taking to work on? And eggs and toast is my favorite meal - if you add hashbrowns.
Bacon puts it over the top.
CAROL - You're having some good quilty days, too! You going back today? When is 'take down"? How many quilts are on display?
I think we might have homemade split pea soup today. Or, perhaps baked chicken, rice, and salad. I will let Bill make a choice when he gets up. It's only 0500 and he usually sleeps later than I do. If I give him his choice, it will be the chicken. I may as well get up and pull it out of the freezer now.
What's YOUR choice?
