SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Jan 29th
Posted: Sun Jan 29, 2023 6:16 am
Good morning,
Looks like today is the 29th. I could have sworn yesterday was the 29th. Have I been a day off all week long?? Gosh, sometimes it's hard to be me.
Yesterday was chalk full of activity around here - 5 errands in Tacoma took up the entire morning. We dropped my machine, "Chip", off for a spa treatment. He had a very busy winter in Texas and deserves some R&R. But if I ever get time to sew anything, I do have my back-up Bernie set up and ready to go. I have to mend a tear in our trailer duvet cover - maybe today. Maybe not. Laundry continues, though there's only one more load of rugs to do. Our goofy dog requires a lot of rugs to scrape up into a pile for sleeping. I would like to take them all out of the trailer, but then I look at how dirty they are and decide the rugs are more washable than the carpet. I suppose washing the dog would make sense, too, but adding more rugs is much easier. And they make him happy. And isn't that what life is all about - making the furbabies happy?
CAROL - I looked up your quilt. Lovely!! And I really like your choice of colors. Is it going to be for you? And what is the challenge in your challenge project?
LORI - if you're around, we stopped at Trader Joe's while in Tacoma and got their orange chicken. Soon, we'll have a taste test!
Well, we had a pretty sparse table setting yesterday. Have y'all given up on me getting the date correct?? I'll try harder - I promise!
For supper, we're having leftover meatloaf. For once, my meatloaf wasn't too crappy. Good thing because there's a lot left! I'm calling that progress!
Got a menu idea for your supper?
