SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, Dec 10th

Good morning,
Another balmy morning here. I think our warm spell will be coming to an end this coming week and we'll be waking up to low 40's but for now, it's nice to sit, drink our coffee at 0500 with the door open. T-storms are predicted for tonite. I hope they clear out by morning.
Yesterday was grocery shopping EARLY. We were there about 6:30am and were the only shoppers in the store. Nice! When we got home, we did morning chores, walked, and then I hit the sewing machine. I finished up the little ghost quilt top (about 43" square) and today I think I'll make a book pillow to go with. Then pack it all away to finish up at home.
The kids are supposed to come for outdoor brunch tomorrow morning. I hope the weather cooperates. They don't doing any indoor things with anyone. They are VERY Covid cautious.
CAROL - as cases of all kinds of sickness are on the rise back home in WA, they are starting to ask people to wear masks indoors again in public places and also on transit. Makes sense. Aut asks us to wear masks if we go inside their house. Fortunately, the weather has been nice enough that we've been able to remain outside. Having freezer meals ready to go sure is nice!
TINA - I know you'll be having fun doing all that shopping for the kids! And delivering Elijah's stocking. You are getting cold! Please don't share! We're only about 750 miles from you!
My sister says she is making chili tonite in her crockpot and we're invited! I offered to make cornbread (I use scratch recipe but mix all the dry ingredients at home in a Ziplock so I only have to add the wet, stir, and bake.) but she said she had that covered, too. So yippee! No cooking again tonite!
How long can we keep our no-cooking streak going? Anyone cooking for you tonite?
