Forgive me, Maryz for starting us out, but I know you are away on your camping trip and deserve all the relaxing time you can get.

I do not cook tonight, it's a dance night and eating out.
I wanted to share my picture. I finished my weeding and feel so happy that lots of my seeds sprouted and will soon bear pretty yellow marigolds.
I will add another picture of my potted flowers.
Enjoy Mary. Camping foods like hamburgers and grilled foods sound so good. What are the rest of you planning?

Good afternoon!

Vel - what a very pretty yard! My kind of yard - no weeds, just pretty flowers! The marigolds will go beautifully with the petunias. Your brick is the same color as what I have here on my house - I love it!

While I cleaned and organized the freezers yesterday, i took out a container of turkey broth, so with that I will be making noodles for our dinner tonight. i have the noodle dough already made and resting in the refrigerator.

Sarah has a thing for squirrels - so I appliqued a bushy tailed squirrel on the arm mat thingy I am making for her . It will be done today, as I just need to machine quilt it and sew on a binding. Sarah was down yesterday and saw it, as I was not pleased with my choice of a background - white or tan just would not be feasible - so she came and quickly picked out a dark green - it works perfectly. And she loves the squirrel - i didn't tell her my idea until she saw it.

So that is about it for stuff around these parts.

Enjoy!
Hugs,
Jana

Hi all!
Velda, beautiful yard and flowers ❤
Jana, I rearranged and organized my freezer a few days ago.
We have Jazmyne, Easton and Preston until Saturday. They were here yesterday too. Holly and Adam went on a trip.
Kevin, Maria and Matthew went to San Antonio to Sea World and Legoland and they've been going to other places and doing things too. They're going to be in Lubbock tonight.
We've been in the upper 90's still but at least not hitting 100 again. My AC is keeping me cool inside. I go outside early morning and later evenings when the sun rays aren't cooking eggs on sidewalks!
We filled the little pool for the kids so we'll be going out in awhile for them to play awhile.
We've been playing ball toss, corn hole and washers last night, maybe this evening too. I also have horse shoes and bocci ball too. I'm looking for a croquet set.
I made spaghetti for supper.
Tina
