SUPPER CLUB - Wed, April 20th

Good morning!
38* here this morning. But it's not raining, so no complaints. Better than the poor East Coast!
Yesterday I sewed, went through summer clothes, and stacked 1 cord of firewood. I've always liked stacking wood. It felt good to be outside (sunshine!) and active. Today, more sewing, more cleaning of dresser drawers. But the firewood is all done until the next cord arrives. No idea when that will be.
BECCA - Oh, I hope CA is up to eating out. Even if it's just for pie and coffee. It will be fun to catch up with your friends.
TINA - we used to hide eggs that way, too. Twice for the kids and then the kids hid them for the grown-ups. Yes, blessings abound for me this summer. I'm excited to see Gene, especially!
JANA - glad the tractor is home again. What did Michael spill? There is a product called Wine-Away that was designed for red wine spills but it works beautifully on lots of things. Better than many other commercial stain removers. On carpets, upholstery, clothing... My next project will be a scrappy quilt, unknown pattern at this point. In manly colors for Alec's roommate. I haven't met him yet so I guess I will just make a generic man's quilt. I'm going through some of my patterns now.
IRISH - great to have you back! Yes, we're addicted to your eagles. I've taken a few pictures from the screen to share with Gene. Last night I went back and looked at the pix of those little white blobs of fluff and compared them to the "pre-teens" we have today with pin-feathers. They have grown so much! Yesterday our friend, Tex, called Bill - he was upset - the feed was lost for a while and he thought it was his computer and he couldn't see the eagles! Everyone always calls Bill with their computer problems. lol! When are you leaving again? You will LOVE Sedona! I've only been there once but it was such a special place. I would like to go back. How far in miles is Terry now from you now?
I'm going to make a pot of chili today. We're leaving Sunday for four nights of camping and I wanted to take chili along for one night's meal. So I'll be making it today, eating some tonite, and freezing the rest. I will probably add cornbread to the menu, and freeze the leftovers of that, too, for camping.
What's bubbling in your pot tonite?
