Good morning,

Yesterday was a quiet, at home day with no errands and no big chores. Ahhhh..... I did finish putting away all the Christmas stuff we took to TX. If I can't take Christmas with me, I ain't goin'! And Bill, bless his heart, loaded up LOTR without even being asked! I think he might start quilting it today. A pass or two every day will get the quilting done in about a week. We have 5 more tops waiting . . . but I know better than to mention them now.

BECCA - Well, just for CA's sake, I'm giving him a lifetime pass on banned food! But just him! None of the rest of you food-sneakers! And you all know who you are!

IRISH - thank you for the good wishes. As you can tell, we put all our best anniversary wishes to good use! lol! I hate the drive to our airport - SeaTac. It's really not difficult but the extreme traffic is way out of my comfort zone, too. And back roads here aren't a viable option if you're trying to meet or catch a flight. I know exactly what those phone calls are like. I received two of them on my first two birthdays after Roy passed away. I KNEW they were from him! They stopped after I met Bill. Funny about Bill - Many years before I met him, he bought property that my dad used to own which wasn't far from my parents' house, he had my brother, Jim, do his bulldozing, and he lived next door to a multi-generational friend of my family, Danny. And we never knew any of it, of course, until after we met and got together. However, Bill and Danny never liked each other AT ALL. Imagine their surprise when I hosted a family reunion and they met each other face to face in my back yard. They eventually had to accept each other because I wasn't giving either of them up. Danny was like an older brother to me since before I was born.

TINA - sorry about the wind, but you get time off from painting!

JANA - in and out of Costco in 17 minutes?? The really would be a record!

CAROL - thank you for your good wishes for A&A. I will pass them on for sure! I get the feeling that your quilt guild is lucky to have you for their president! Any chance you'll be re-elected? Or want to be?

We have green chili chicken enchiladas leftover so that and salad will be on tonite's menu. Then it's back to new food. I need to get thinkin' . . .

What are you thinking about for supper?

Good morning!
Wow Mary, I think the stars aligned and you and Bill were being guided to each other ā¤šŸ„°
Awesome story ā¤ā¤
I bet it's hard not to try to hurry him to get with the quilting! It would be for me! šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚
I haven't even started on my painting parts, just waiting for Frankie to finish above where I'll be. He's using scaffolding and there's no room anyways but I don't think I'd be very happy if he dripped onto my painting. But he is hammering nails in, cleaning, putting kilz on and then 2 coats of paint and the best part is while he's doing that then I get to sew! LOL I'm not rushing him. šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜‰
I'm going to be working on the SBS blocks and making another sample block for the March lotto so I can tell Valerie how it goes this time. I loooove the March block!
I'll be making green chile chicken enchilada casserole for supper and we have salad. We bought another pack of yellow corn tortillas because Frankie thought we were out LOL so I'll be making some dishes to use the oldest up this week. I know tacos will be someday this week too.

Thank you for the kind words, Becca and Maryz. However, The Bylaws of the Guild says an officer of the Board can only serve two one-year terms. I will have done that in June, so must step down as President, but will probably go to another position. Elections are this spring and it will be interesting to see who steps forward.

Mary - Quite a story about Bill knowing so many around you!

Becca - Hope you are feeling better after some rest this afternoon.

Tina - Hope when it is your turn to paint you have ideal weather!

I too have a grab bar in the walk-in shower that was installed five years ago. I am glad to know it is there!

We went to a cafe for dinner and had a sandwich. It was nice not to have to fix dinner. I am really tired! Guild meeting last night and then a class today. The speaker last night and teacher today was Diane Murtha. She taught a class on three-dimensional flowers.
