SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Jan 16th

Good morning,
Bill had a better night - slept well and QUIETLY which was a nice change for both of us. But he says his throat is still sore and he has a bad headache. No results from Covid test yet. We may take him to Urgent Care today.
I got Mr. Camel finished as far as I can go so he and the rest of his gang are all packed away until home. I dragged out my crazy quilt project. I brought all my scraps in a fabric tote and settled in for the afternoon. I got twenty 5-1/2" blocks made. I'll keep making blocks until I'm cross-eyed and then I'll go back and do the fancy gold stitching on the seams. This project is 13 x13 for a total of 169 blocks. It's partially done already so I only need about 80 more blocks. I did 20 yesterday. If Bill doesn't get well pretty soon, I may have to go back to that LQS! Oh darn.
BECCA - I hope your ticklish throat isn't a harbinger of things to come. This thing of Bill's seems to be settled in his throat. He can still smell and taste as much as he can with any other virus, for what that's worth. Glad to hear CA is eating a little better. Tell him to keep up that good work! Did you get much of that storm?
JANA - your days seem so filled with family, sewing, home, and more! It's good to be you!
VELDA - glad you are doing well. Keep up the eye-resting!
CAROL - happy rain!! I miss rain, though from what I hear, I will get more than my fill when we finally do get home again.
LORI - if I didn't have Scottie, and before him, Snickers, I'm sure I would have quit my daily walking years ago. They do say people who have dogs (and cats!) are healthier because they have to walk them.
I'm not even going to guess what our supper will be tonite. Poor Bill has little appetite so pizza was nixed last night and we had tomato basil soup, no sandwiches to go with. Who know what he'll feel like tonite. I can make mac & cheese, more soups, pancakes, eggs. All sick room/comfort food. His wish shall be my command.
What are you wishing for tonite?
