SUPPER CLUB - Thursday, Nov 4th

Good morning,
What a day yesterday! Chock-a-block full of good deals! First the LQS where I stocked up on lots of fabric, but only about half what I usually do at these sales. Then I found MORE fabric at Goodwill along with some other bargains. While I was in Tacoma, I was going to call the Sew'n'Vac place to see if my back-up machine was ready, but I forgot. And I was almost next door! Well, Bill called me when I was in the middle of the bridge coming home and said they'd just called the house. The Tacoma Narrows Bridge is 1-1/4 mi suspension toll bridge and there's no turning around so we're going back together today to pick the machine up. And a stop at Trader Joe's for Scottie-dog's special treats. We are getting dangerously low on those!
I got my binding on Gene's quilt yesterday, too, and finished that half LOTR block. Today, I want to get the label made and stitched on. I have a massage at 11:00 and then back to Tacoma for my machine. Then three packages to get ready to mail, along with my SS gift which is already packed up. I don't think I'll get to my next LOTR block today.
TINA - You are really set to everyone to come spend the night! It's a lot of work to completely re-do a room. Are you selling the extra furniture?
BECCA - You really seem to get a lot of errands done in one trip. I have to say, I hate errands. After 3 stops I'm ready to go home. But I did force myself to make one extra stop yesterday at Safeway. I wanted to make sure I got a turkey breast to take in the trailer for TG. I was afraid they would run out if I waited.
JANA - Maybe my next iron will be an Oliso. My Rowenta piddles a lot. And I can't see through the red, semi-opaque reservoir to see how much water I'm adding. I always overflow it. But it does heat fast, I will say that for it. Good to hear your patient keeps improving, but sounds like he will be just that - a patient for quite a while. Hope he's a patient patient! And poor Ethan! Hope all his parts and pieces heal quickly! That's a pretty nice perk Sarah is getting from her job!
LORI - you had a good reason for being delayed with your Christmas sewing. Are these actual Christmas projects or sewing for Christmas gifts that you are doing? What is "topper" for the lawn?
I never made the fajitas yesterday but might tonite. Or I might use up my leftover pizza sauce and leftover pepperoni to make little pizzas on tortillas plus a salad. I can put the veggies in the salad.
