Supper club, Monday, March 15
Good morning!
I am dictating this on my phone while sitting in the parking lot at oral surgeon office. Hope the Ides of March mean nothing in regards to my hubby’s procedure today
This will be short. I don’t know yet what the day holds. Bill is not a very demanding patient -he prefers to be left alone in his recliner. I will just keep the ice packs and hot tea coming. I may run to the store to pick up ice cream and yogurt for him. I can also make custard and tapioca pudding and smoothies. And that gives you a window into our dinner hour. Lol!
Chickie texted yesterday that she is home from the hospital. Feeling much better and she was headed for the pasture to check out a new baby calf, the first of the season.

Good morning!
Prayers for Bill, hoping it's painless and a quick recovery.
We're working in the next closet here today. We're supposed to have only 15mph winds today but tomorrow 50.
Dad will be here for supper, I'm thinking chicken but I'll have to consult with the freezer.

Well, today got off to a busy start. I had bills to get paid and prescriptions to be refilled. Since the majority of everything is done online or by phone, I got started on them at first light, after I got coffee brewing. Now I need to get dressed and go pick up some kitty litter, food, and treats before my fur babies get upset with me. When I get back, I'll get the borders cut for Alexis' quilt. I finally decided to just make traditional style borders, and got the sizes calculated for cutting.
Chriss, the name of the program is Pic2Pat. It converts the picture to a x-stitch graph that includes the DMC thread/floss colors and numbers, etc.
Mary, I've been praying for Bill as he goes through the dental surgery, and recouping now that he is at home. I think I am going to look for some corned beef and cabbage while at the store today. Don't forget the buttermilk for the soda bread. I'm putting it on the list now. It is good that Chickie was able to come home and feeling good as she walked the pasture.
Izzy, welcome to the new addition of your quail. I can see William now...
I continue to pray for Chickie, Kathy, and add Judi's family to the list as well.
I better get busy, or the day is going to slip away with nothing else getting accomplished.
Supper??? Maybe something will reveal itself while I am at the store. Right now, nothing comes to mind.
Everyone have a blessed day.

Good afternoon!
Late to the table today.
Mary - hope your patient is doing well this afternoon. DDS's are no fun!
Ethan is finally here. Sarah's DDS appointment went the same as the others, the implant won't fit. So they are trying again on the 1st of April. They shortened the post and hopefully that will help. On the brighter side of Sarah, they thought that maybe the sinuses were affecting all the swelling of, the dental issues, but they are fine and not the cause. So after all this time, we are now in the realm of food allergies. The Dr started the food allergy testing today. Maybe we will finally get a answer. Also no RA, or lupus.
Dinner was so much fun with everyone together again. My little Lila is a big pill! Matt has a pair of French doors to his office, downstairs. So Lila snuck in there, shut the door very quietly and then locked it, from the inside. She then hid in the knee hole of his desk. Grandma was the only one who saw her do it and when she was noticed to be missing, it was a hoot watching everyone looking, then coaxing her to unlock the door. Of course, she was giggling!
Tonight I am roasting a chicken, similar to beer can chicken, but using a bundt pan. Roasted veggies in the bundt pan, with all the chicken drippings.
Need to run out and pick up a bunch of prescriptions for Michael.
Take Care! Lots of prayers!
Hugs,
Jana
