Good morning!

We Were a little warmer yesterday but a 14mph wind kicked up through the afternoon so still chilly out. We are hoping Autumn can come by Saturday or Sunday for lunch but it will depend on the weather. We have to do our visiting outside.

I worked on the reindeer quilt yesterday. Today will be more of that plus laundry. I’m also getting in a lot of walking - it’s about 1-1/4 miles around the perimeter of our RV park. A few dog walks a day does it!

Becca, your village is wonderful! I’ve asked Tina to post your photos here if that’s OK. I struggle w/ photos and she is a whiz.

Jana, will be praying for Sarah. Most gall bladder surgeries now are done laparoscopically and patients are home same day. But inside, it’s still serious surgery. The tendency is to overdo because you don’t hurt too badly. With the holidays and finishing the basement, she will need to be careful.

Tina, exciting times at your house! Are the kids getting pumped for Santa?

Lori, some lucky kid to get your snowman! How many kids do you have?

My mom never told us about Santa but one year she did cleverly leave scraps of fabric around for us to discover. It matched the dresses Santa brought us. I remember figuring it out and telling my little sis but warning her not to say anything so we would keep getting Santa gifts. My mom told me later she overheard me telling Teese that.🤣

Bill and Al went off yesterday in search of a company that coats RV roofs. 220 miles later they got home and never even found the right town! Tina and I had a good laugh at their expense. So as long as it was late and dinner was almost ready - teriyaki chix, potatoes, salad - they ate with us. Tonite they say they are making chili for us all.

Come join us!!

Good afternoon!

Thank you Tina for the pictures!

Becca - love the village!

Mary - enjoy the weather - it's giving you sewing time!

Well, I finally got it through Scrooge's brain about the stand I wanted for my white tree and basket. He had been arguing that it wouldn't work, but once I quit telling and laid it out, he understood. He is building it now and I have some red white stripe fabric to cover the wood with. That room will be done today. Mantel will be done too. Hopefully the last, the big tree and train will be this weekend.

Dinner - unknown and easy. I will see what is in the freezer already done to heat and eat.

Sewing in a little while,
Stay Safe!
Hugs,
Jana

Jana, sometimes they just make it harder than it really is. lol Glad he finally understood.

Tina, your decoration are pretty.

Mary, we have 3 total. Jonathan, Shane, and Jami. Bill and I met when they were 3, 4, and 6. Bill's kids Shane and Jami live about 12 miles away. Jonathan lives in Utah. Which is why I go up there a lot. We see Shane every week.

Well I made a few tree ornaments. We do an exchange at our guild, and we're also doing one with our friendship group. So that's out of the way. I can continue on with other things. There is a fire about 15 miles from us, so it's a bit smoky. I only walked Jack about half a miles this morning because it was just smelly outside and the wind kept blowing things into my eyes. Hopefully they'll get control of the fire and the wind will die down by tomorrow.

For dinner we are having a homemade Lasagna that I pulled from the freezer.

Have a lovely day.
