Supper Club, Saturday, Nov 14

Post by purrfect-lady » Sat Nov 14, 2020 6:15 am

Good morning,

Today’s run will be our longest yet - about 350 miles across Mojave Desert into AZ. Should be a smooth run with few urban areas to fight our way through. Plan to hang out in the desert for a few nights. Nice to just relax, savor, and enjoy the fresh air, spectacular AZ sunsets, and views.

Jana, hope Sarah is OK.
Lori, welcome home!
Becca, leaves!! The bane of the season!
Tina, with Virus on the upswing again Maybe a package of blackberries isn’t worth The risk of exposure for any of us. Dream catcher RV park warned us of your state’s mandate when we made reservations that we aren’t to go about town but to remain in the park until we leave the next day.

Last night’s soup was good. And we have enough for tonight too. So that’s our plan - leftovers, but heated on stove outside and eaten around the campfire. 🍲🔥🍲

You got a plan yet?

Mary, hope the weather is nice. DS was in Tuscan earlier this week and said it was cold and raining.

Jana, Glad you found a red coat you liked. 4 sizes is a big decrease. I'm sure someone will enjoy the coat you give away.

I'm going to walk the boys and then vacuum. Then I'll head into the sewing room and see what needs to be done.

Well it was chili last night for dinner. I'm thinking teriyaki chicken and rice tonight.

Have a wonderful day.

Good morning!

My little Ethan, baseboard cleaning master, just finished another big stretch of baseboards. We did the front room, the entrance area and the entire staircase. I helped a bit, and he then came over, looked at my work, and proceeded to tell me I did a good job, but missed a spot or two, and then he fixed them to his standards! I did keep a straight face. He says he loves to clean baseboards. We also dusted all the furniture and I need to vacuum. He is packing up his stuff and Sarah is on her way over.

Dinner - we will piece, a sandwich or something. I ordered a roast that I was planning to use for Christmas, but it is way too small, so we will have that tomorrow and I will be more specific for what I need next time.

Mary - we never liked traveling too many miles in one day either. And we didn't have a hotel behind us. Just the Apollo space capsule with 4 kids!

Lori - teriyaki anything is good!

Becca - we are still waiting for the last leaves to finally fall, so we can use the tractor and the lawn sweeper attachment to get them off the lawn.

Sarah's here - seeya!

Hugs,
Jana
