SUPPER CLUB - Monday, October 26th
Posted: Mon Oct 26, 2020 5:31 am
Good morning,
Busy days here! Bill might get trailer repair finished today! Hoping, hoping, hoping. I got out there and started taking stock of supplies and took a few things out like paper products. I also got in a bit of sewing and we winterized our deck - brought in quilts, pillows, cushions and got the fountain ready for winter. Last night I was perusing Pinterest and found a fox quilt pattern I loved so decided to make that for my sister's new Fox Mountain Fifth-wheel. We downloaded the pattern and today I'll be pulling fabrics. This will be my official travel project now so I may pull out something else I'd already packed up to take. I can't do it all!
LORI - I'm so sorry I spaced over your birthday yesterday! I hope you were able to move forward and have a very happy day despite my oversight! Many happy belated birthday wishes! I do love your quilt. What is the name of the pattern?
BECCA - oh no! Not another broken arm! Doesn't this make three in this DGS's family? And what a way for you to find out. But at least you were right there at God's ear to say a prayer for little Wyatt. (love his name, by the way). Hope you get a favorable update today. Things never slow down in your family, do they?
JANA - how much snow do you have? My DBIL texted this morning - he has about a foot - so far. And it's 9* there this morning! Sarah's reno is really moving along! What all will be downstairs when this is all finished? Ethan's room, sewing space, and anything else? And yes, for sure all the extra RV repair supplies will be going into our emergency kit. We carry quite an array of stuff to fix things. Now we will carry more.
Our grandsons, Drew & Alec, will be coming tonite for supper. We haven't seen them since last Christmas and since we won't be here this year we'll be "doing Christmas" tonite with them. I'll give Alec his "We Whisk You a Merry Christmas" baking quilt. Since Alec is vegetarian, I think I'll make macaroni & cheese and salad. I have brussels sprouts in the fridge, too, but in my experience, young men don't like those, though Alec might. . . . .
What might you be having for your supper tonite?
