Good morning

It wasn't a bad morning when I got up at 0530 but it has gradually worked into a mildly stormy day. Sis and DBIL just left for their son's house for the day but will be back before dark. So I'm going to spend the day getting Tina's embroidered flower quilt top ready for, and loaded onto the frame and maybe even get started quilting it. I would love to have it finished before they leave Thursday but I probably won't. I'm going to bind it for her, too.

BECCA - Let's hope your BP stays in line. Didn't you used to have a chronically low BP? Wonder what has suddenly changed . . . Even if you can't see your DGS often, it will be wonderful to know he's so much closer to you. My BIL from DH#2 (Roy) was a pastor at a Baptist church in Elizabeth City near the NC Coast. When he retired they moved to Concord which, I believe, is outside Charlotte.

JANA - I do remember that clip from Rockford Files! I suspect James Garner, one of my TV hearthrobs from his Maverick days, did the driving himself. His big hobby was race car driving. I'd hate to think of MY boy doing that! Maybe we all need to get together and get a Go Fund Me thing going to buy you hair dye! lol!!

I sent a message off to IRISH this morning but haven't heard back yet. Will update y'all when I do.

We are off supper detail for tonite so I rustled around in the freezer and found some cooked red beans. So we might have those. But we also have a cooked chicken breast, so I might do something with that - shred it and put it into the beans maybe? Over boiled potatoes? We'll see . . .

I hope your supper is an easier decision than ours!

Good morning!

Just finished Church, a couple of technical difficulties, but Scott solved them quickly. They are slowly working out the bugs. My Relief Society lesson has been moved to the second Sunday of November. Same material that I was teaching from March, just keeps getting moved. If I had a complex, I could think that they don't want me - LOL! I know I am wanted.

Dinner - is our regular Sunday late brunch. Tomorrow is dinner at Matt's house. It is his 42nd birthday and Crenda is having Olive Garden cater dinner. Because of Utah's new gathering rules, we can only have 10 people at most at a gathering. So with Matt's family and us, we make 9. Hoping and praying we get the virus numbers under control before Christmas, as with Daniel here, we make 22 for dinner.

Sarah raided my fabric stash for a Christmas table runner as a gift for her MIL. I traced the fusible for her as well. It is a fun Art to Heart pair of ornaments. She also has the order 8n for the carpet in her basement. She needs to get the sheetrock up before Saturday, as the company will be out to measure. But she may not be done, so we came up with a plan to have the sheetrock up temporarily at the floor level. I am good schemer! As the phrase goes around this house, don't tell a engineer's wife she can't do something!

Mary - maybe you will have everything done on the quilt and your sister can finish the binding herself. That way she will have the option to say, see what I finished! :)

Well, the last Minnie's are waiting for me this morning. So glad I have my shoping done for Christmas. People keep adding to my sewing. I need to make a dress for Emma. She is very hard to fit, so I will sew this for her. Plus, 2 dolls like I did last year and clothes for them too. Sarah will be able to sew more, as she will have a working sewing room in her basement finishing. Sarah also is cutting back on her sod company work, season is ended and she may not return. The sod owners want her to move to Idaho Falls and work from there. She doesn't want to move. All of us are here.

Well, off to sew,

Hugs,
Jana
