Supper Club Sunday September 6th

Post by Quilter7 » Sun Sep 06, 2020 11:04 am

Hi Everyone!
I don't think I have ever started a Supper Club before today.

Dinner in the Air Fryer/Grill was wonderful last night, so tonight we are having Turkey Burgers and maybe fries. Both made in the new toy! DH agrees it was a great anniversary gift. Tomorrow is our 24th anniversary.

Today is very warm already. We left windows open last night to cool down the house, but the night temperatures were in the low 70s. Today will be very hot.

I think I have been spending too much time on the computer lately and not enough on sewing, so I hope to go sew right now!

Good afternoon!

Thanks Carol for setting the table. Not much here. Actually nothing planned for dinner today. Just munching on what is left around here.

Carol - Sarah and Sandee both love their air fryers. Ethan has learned to use one too. He, under supervision makes tater tots, which he loves. Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary!

Didn't make my batch of soup yesterday, so will do it tomorrow.

I think I will stir up a batch of brownie bites.

Hugs,
Jana

Hi everyone! I'm running super late!
Carol, happy anniversary for tomorrow! I have an air fryer too, I think it makes the best fries! I try not to eat potatoes very often but when I do and make fries that's how they get made here now ๐Ÿ˜Š I've made chicken wings in it too, yummy!
Jana, I think I need your brownie bites recipe please ๐Ÿ˜Š
Jazmyne is staying the night and she requested spaghetti so that's what we had and garlic bread.
I'm trying to figure out a tote bag pattern for Holly, I'm nervous that I'll mess it up. She's hoping to have it Tuesday ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž I've had it all a long time, she bought everything for it but things happened and I didn't get it made and she really needs it with taking books and computer back and forth to school and home every day.

Tina - I have a Wilton mini muffin pan that has 24 spots. I use a Lehi Roller fudge brownie mix, just as the box directs and I add chopped pecans. Spray the pan with Pam, then scoop the brownie batter till the spots are about 3/4 full and bake for about 15 minutes, at the temp on the box.. Cool, pop out and enjoy. The brownie mix usually is baked in a 8x8 pan. I usually get about 30 bites out of a batch. I do easy! My family, all want the corners, this way they all get a edge. I carefully take out the hot brownies, so I can reuse the pan. My scoop might be a 1 ounce, maybe slightly bigger.
