SUPPER CLUB Saturday July 11th
Hi everyone!
I've been under the weather but have been trying to keep up with reading, I think I'm better today.
Mary text earlier that she was in WA about 4 hours away from home. Her brother hasn't been doing very well but they changed his meds and his BP is doing better, good news. She sent me a picture of him and he looks really good. I don't know if this new med will give him any more time but maybe it'll make him have better quality?
We've been up to 109° and low of 75°, we're 106° right now, we may have a break on Thursday the weather guy says. These are very unusual temps for us, especially for weeks at a time. We've been hitting 100 by 10am and staying there till after 8pm, we're literally baking!
Supper tonight is a nice cold salad.
Tina

Re: SUPPER CLUB Saturday July 11th
Good afternoon from partly sunny and warm, SW. Pa...Today, we're only in the 80s not the 90 like the past week but those temps will be coming back....We did have rain late afternoon yesterday and during the night and boy did we need it....
Hi Tina, so glad to see you back at the table but sorry to hear you've been under the weather....I have a feeling, you do too much for everyone else and don't take time to take care of yourself...Time for you to sit down, put the feet up and rest....
I'm glad you've heard from Mary....Sure have been thinking of her and wondering about Albert...At this point, hoping and praying he's comfortable....
Not much happening in my house today...Did all my uglies yesterday and then had the gals here to play cards last night..It was a fun evening, lots of laughs and of course lots to eat....We had ordered pizza and salads and I made that éclair pudding dessert so everyone was happy.....
For my dinner, left over pizza and salad, what else.......
Hope you all have a good rest of the day...
Happy eating................

Good afternoon!
Tina sorry. you are under the weather. your temps are running very similar to mine. I really like to sleep with the windows open, but when it is this hot, we run the A/C at night. thanks for the update on Albert. Glad the med change helped. I have been wondering how he is doing.
dinner here - is still in the unknown catagory. Plenty to choose from, even have Irish's old standby of a bag of chips!
Sarah has been getting fits from a tooth. Finally after several trips a specialist pinned down the problem. It is being caused by her Graves disease. so they need to remove that tooth and put in a dental implant to solve the problem. This will create a whole new set of problems - she cannot eat anything but very soft foods until the whole procedure is over - in January or February. No chewing is allowed - no toast, cereal, except oatmeal or Cream of Wheat, etc. It will take that long to graft the bone to hold the implant. It looks like that surgery will take place in August - near the middle. She is not a happy camper at those prospects, but would rather put up with that instead of hurting all the time. Graves disease is a autoimmune that what ever tickles it's fancy, is where it attacks - we never know quite where.
Hugs
Jana

Re: SUPPER CLUB Saturday July 11th
I'm busy searching for my green Christmas fabrics, or any of my green fabrics at this point. I checked with Tina to see if any showed up at her house, but no. I checked with Morton and Emily to see if anyone came by to get some, but they are not saying. I even asked them if they hid them for their own projects, but again, no mommy...
I guess there will be a F.A.R.T. Monday so I can get my Christmas swap blocks in production.
Temps are climbing here. We were supposed to be 106* today, but as of 2:30 we were still only at 96*.
Prayers for Albert. It is good that his BP is finally stable. Prayers for Mary and family as well. I know this is a difficult time.
Supper tonight will be pizza and salad. The roast wasn't thawed enough to start cooking yet.
