SUPPER CLUB - Wed, June 3rd

Good morning!
Bill and I realized yesterday that we leave Thursday, not Friday, for our 2-1/2 weeks of camping! And here I was just putzing along doing a chore here, packing a thing there. So now we are double-timing it. He has sprinkling system with timers to set up, the roof to blow off and then the cement part of the driveway and parking pad to also blow off. When you live in woods, you get a lot of tree debris on you. He has truck things to do, trailer things to do. I have packing, laundry and house ugh-lies. Most of the list is crossed off now. This morning I have a mammogram and chiro appt. He also has chiro but our furniture is going to be delivered between 9 and noon, so he will have to stay here and go to chiro this afternoon instead. Happy they are so flexible. I don't even remember what our furniture looks like! lol! So you are getting an idea of what our day here is looking like.
TINA - so happy to see you at the table! Your poor kitty. I hope she's going to be OK. I've broken a tooth before. It's no fun.
IRISH - If Kathy and Tim ever go wine-tasting in WA, and if they'd like a short list of our favorite wineries, let me know. We've been to a lot of them and some are wonderful and some are - well - not as wonderful. Though everyone's tastes differ. Nice to be able to make your yard your own! We'll be needing some photos when you are all done.
JANA - that is no "quick trip" to Idaho you have planned! But it will be a fun one. Hope you find all you are looking for and more besides.
BECCA - I think you HAVE a full time gardener - YOU! We have thought about hiring a guy to do some of the harder seasonal work here - a couple times a year. But I'm shrinking the yard and so far I can still handle it.
We have enough pasta left for one more night, but I'm not sure I can handle it 3 nights in a row. We'll see come 6pm. We may just do the Subway thing. I have enough salad makings for one more evening, so salad is a given.
Happy Suppertime!
