Supper Club - Wednesday, March 11, 2020
Good sunny morning! After a big thunderstorm in the night, we are going for 70 today. Of course, what goes up must come down, and low 50s are forecast for Friday—the day I get to spend with my DD! Any day with her is a great day, and we won’t mind the weather.
Last evening I finished crocheting #2 baby afghan. Now, to get started on #3 and have it finished by April! #2 turned out a little wonky as I must have gotten looser or tighter with my stitches, but it’s made with love and I hope the recipient will overlook the wonky shape. I also finished Fancy Forest top and have downsized the fox block to use for bibs, burp cloths and the quilt label. I have the label finished and ready when I get the quilt finished.
I hope Mary checks in today—we had pizza last night, and it didn’t come with anchovies! We had to make a town run and help my sister. Her DD had dental surgery and was far too sedated for her to get him in their house by herself. It was dinner time, so we picked up a pizza in town. I made big salads for sides (main for me).
And that brings me to tonight’s dinner—pizza or liver. It will be determined this evening.
I’ll be in my sewing room making bibs today…
Bon appétit!

Chickie, what a cute idea for a label.
Pizza sounds good.
Don't know what we'll have tonight. I have a quilting class today. I guess I'll figure it out later.
Have a lovely day.

Good morning!
Got most of the uglies done earlier. Sarah is now considering having to cancel her big concerts for her musical group. With this virus, her ticket sales have dwindled to nothing and she needs to protect her musicans, as well as the public. It is a tough decision to make. The Church just changed how our annual General Conference meetings will be held the first week of April. So far, here in Utah we only have two cases of the virus, both contracted outside the state.
I got the top from hockey sticks done last night. Just need to layer and quilt it. It might go to the UFO pile until next year, since most of March is gone and I am not in the mood to work on it anymore! I have April's ready to start. Much easier, bunnies, baskets, eggs and carrots. Most are applique, a couple of pieced blocks.
Well, the corned beef didn't make it yesterday, so it will in a few minutes make the crock pot.
Chickie - wonky won't be noticed, two reasons, a adorable baby wrapped in it, and two, a wiggly adorable baby wrapped in it! I love doing baby things.
Lori - I will bet that will be a fun class!
Becca - busy as always, running and getting things done! Good to have family visit.
Well, better get started with something else that needs to be done,
Hugs,
Jana

Hi everyone!
I've started here a bunch of times but I guess I got lost along the way
Chickie, wonky will be loved too. Your bibs and labels are going to be so cute!
Lori, quilting classes are fun, enjoy!
Becca, happy you're having sunshine.
Jana, your March skinny sounds like it's a complicated one, sorry it's giving you trouble.
Preston wanted to play out back today so I watered everything out there and pulled a few weeds and trimmed one of my trees, it needed it badly.... it's not hanging in the walkway now.
Laundry is all caught up again.
Frankie has to help me put the stuff back in our closet, I'm too short and they all frown on my getting on anything to stand on.
When Frankie got home we worked out in the back yard some more.
I finished month 2 of my BOM, class is Saturday....I was beginning to wonder if I'd make it.
New Mexico has 3 cases of the coronavirus as of this morning. One couple came back from Egypt with it and the other person came back from New York with it.
We had red enchiladas for supper.
