Good morning!

The last two mornings were 51* when I got up - this morning it's 33* and eerily quiet. No rain! No birds yet! Just that ticking clock. And it's groundhog day! And wouldn't you know it, after weeks of rain, we have a sunny afternoon ahead today and snowflakes in our forecast, starting about 1:00 am tomorrow. Just figures, doesn't it. That darn groundhog!

Yesterday We took a long walk when we had a break in the rain. Then hit the grocery store and came home with three bags full. I got my chicken soup in the crockpot and we set up a small table downstairs. Our friend, Susie, doesn't do stairs well. She has a gliding chair at home to go up and down their staircase. Our house is a split level. I also finished my Christmas Country Charmer. I'll take a picture as soon as we get the dog hair vac'd up off the rug so I can lay it down for a photo op.

This afternoon we're going to a Super Bowl pizza party. We won't know anyone there but we probably will by the time we leave. Go RED!

JANA - I know your house will be busy today even if you only have Aaron & fam and Ethan. Our upstairs carpets need cleaning, too. But no sense until spring or even summer.

LORI - I would LOVE to share some of our water with you! But we don't deliver. We now have one big lake that encompasses our back yard and Vicki's, about 150' x 40' and 12" deep in the center. Come and get it!

BECCA - happy half-birthday to your Twinkies! And I'm pleased to hear that you are improving. Glad you can stay home for another few days.

Well, pizza will be on the menu today. David, my massage therapist, is really having fun with the big pizza oven he built on his deck and I think this is his first BIG pizza party. I'll be taking my little fruit/cheese kabob appetizers. I think about 2 dozen people will be there. If we are hungry later tonite, we have leftover chicken soup.

Will you be watching the game today? And what will be your snack/supper du jour?

Good morning ladies.
It is supposed to be a beautiful day today. Right now, it seems rather chilly to me. Hope they are right though....
Have been Lysol-ing the house the past few days. Seems like a good time to do that! Shannon took the first sick kid to the doc, mostly because she has a tube in her stomach, he wanted to check if she had flu, (I didn't know they could do that!) and to make sure that the tube was still in place. Some sort of tummy bug going around, and he told her that everyone in the house would most likely have it too, lasting from one to three days. She stopped at the store to stock up on all the sick time medicines and foods/drinks, and the doc was spot on! Guess we are done now, I hope.
No super bowl for us today....not really sports fans here. What we watch over Thanksgiving with my DBIL keeps us good for the year! Although, we do the home games at the local high school, because we have had grands in the band and half time shows, with band, color guard and a cheerleader too, so have to go watch those!
I have some chicken out, will probably do something with that, but just don't know what yet....You all have a great day....Becky

Good morning!
Did ya all think I fell off the face of the earth?! LOL I was exhausted Friday and Saturday was a recovery day LOL plus the kids were here till almost 5 yesterday. Kevin, Maria and Matthew stayed the night Friday night so Holly, Jazmyne, Easton and Preston came to visit, hangout and play most of the day. It was nice, plus they ate a lot of the leftovers.....I froze almost all of the rest. Friday's get together was great! My nephew was so happy to get to see everyone and he was very appreciative and touched that I went to so much trouble for him and his wife. She's really sweet and she must've thanked me a dozen times too. Made me feel good that it meant so much to them. He said he needs to come back in the summer to finish up some things from his dad passing.
Today will be a Walmart run for Dad. He fell last night and hit his head..... Tracy chewed him out and so did I. He walked to his mailbox and on the return trip ran out of energy and went down. He's cut on his forehead, elbow and knee and bruised up. And he didn't take his cell phone with him! I'm very upset with him! I'll also be sewing today, watching the Superbowl and cooking.
Supper will be BBQ chicken wings, salad and I'm going to make some little smokies wraps for Frankie early.

Good morning!

I am decked out in red and gold and I am at church. Michael frowned when I said I wanted to wear my jersey, so I did the next best in a red dress, gold pin and earrings. That is until I get home! Game starts at 4:30 for me.

Dinner is meatloaf, baked taters, and green beans. Aaron will do some wings after he gets to my house. Gracie and Ethan will dip and decorate some doughnuts I will make after Church.

Tina - oh my! Sounds like Dad needs one of those I fallen and can't get up buttons on him. Hope he is better today.

Gotta scoot, church is starting, fasting than I can type!

GO NINERS!

Enjoy,
Jana
