Going to be a full day today - working on swap blocks plus we'll probably watch the play-off football games. The Seahawks game isn't until late tomorrow, but we enjoy the other games, too, always rooting for the underdog. I also hope we can get in a long walk if the rain holds off. I don't mind walking in light rain but soaking downpours keep me inside with my fabric!
JANA - glad the judge is standing firm! I hope that trial is soon. If the guy is out on bail, no telling what he will do in the meantime. A new doughnut shop! I'd be having a love/hate relationship with that place!

CHICKIE - did you get the binding finished on D's quilt? And a good start on the baby quilt? A relief that if we come to supper at your house we won't need to brown bag it!
LORI - haha! I think now we ALL want a doughnut. Or two. Thank goodness there are no shops close to us! And yeah, you don't want to tick off a judge. When we went to court to apply for our protective order against Vicki, the young lady whose case was called just before us got into an argument with the judge! Got the judge all warmed up for us! And then when we went for the final hearing two weeks later, guess who again went just before us! And argued with that judge, too! Her case was tossed out. She was mad. Judge was mad. And then our case was called . . .good thing my hubby can pull out his charm when he needs to!

BECCA - I've never taken any regular medications, but one summer I needed 3 short-term Rx's and the pharmacy messed up every single one of them! There was a question on one of them and the doctor needed to be called. The pharmacist slammed the phone down in front of me to make the call. I eyeballed him and said I thought that was HIS job. Then he got mad. I've never gone back to that store and it wasn't long before that chain was involved in a big lawsuit for messing up prescriptions.
IRISH - that house sounds purrfect for you. Now if you can just get your realtor, your head, and your heart to all agree, you'll be set. Have you talked to your kids? Our police seemed eager to have quilts for their cars so that's where all my UFO's went. We also have the sheriff's department I can sew for. I have a few more tops ready but the holidays stopped the quilting process as the quilt room got filled with Christmas totes, gifts, boxes, wrappings, etc. Will get back to it soon. Bill needs something to do in this cold, wet weather.

FLO - welcome to supper club! We've had a lot of rain here, too. Some places are flooded.
TINA - that is so sad about your friend losing her beautiful daughter. Her mom wrote such a loving tribute. I will say a prayer for that family.
I think I'll make a pizza for supper tonite. It's always a crowd pleaser here, and so quick and easy to do.
What will be pleasing YOUR crowd tonite? and know that I consider a cat and/or dog an important part of our crowds!
