SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Nov 17th

Good morning!
We've got lots of rain this morning with a breezy afternoon predicted. Hoping the last of the leaves will come down so we can do our final clean up.
I got my attic window quilt all cut apart and put back together yesterday. I love how it turned out and wish it were bigger than 36x52" but it will go nicely over my wooden rocker that will be next to our tree in TWO WEEKS! I used the scraps from our tree skirt to border this little quilt. I'm hoping Bill will quilt it for me with his new pattern Twinkling Snowflakes, but he's frying other fish of his own lately so I may have to do it myself.
Today - no real plans but I might bake something, I might clean out some drawers in my sewing room, and we might watch a football game. No Hawks game today but maybe we can find Broncos (our back-up favorite) or Eagles (Hawks' next opponant). I saw a picture on FB of the Seahawks & coach Pete Carroll kneeling in their uniforms, heads bent, giving thanks. So refreshing to see!
JANA - Nice to have a good disposal again! But I do often wonder why the menfolk want to start a project right at the time when you need the space - in the kitchen or wherever. It happens here, too.
And if Sarah has good hints or recipes I would be grateful. I don't have a pressure cooker. Never used one. But I do have a hot water bath canner. Two in fact.
BECCA - great news about the success of the fund-raiser. I'm sure Levi and Taylor are overwhelmed! And our babies are really gaining weight! Lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! I'm glad you were able to attend even for a little while so you could be a part of the evening.
For supper, I have leftover chicken that I think I'll chop into a box of Rice-a-Roni (the San Francisco Treat!
) and add some peas to it for a one dish meal. And add a salad or sliced tomatoes to round it out.
I hope you find something yummy on your plate tonite.
