Humidifier to prevent cold

Post by Rose9245 » Mon Aug 19, 2019 6:33 am

Hey! I'm a newcomer here, wanna ask you about humidifier experience with babies, my Lilly is 13 months and she's got a runny nose and cold too frequently and I was told a humidifier can help to prevent it. What do you think? What brands are kids-friendly?

I decided to update my post just FYI. So I've been looking for a baby humidifier which would be suitable for our region and it was not so hard as we expected. After reading dozens of forums and posts like this one (a pretty good one detailed review) https://www.evababygear.com/best-baby-humidifier/ I decided to buy a VicTsing with an LCD screen. Now my daughter is happy and feeling better, that's the main point. The humidifier seems durable and mist time is quite long (about 10-12 hours). Hope this will help anyone!

We use a cool mist humidifer here in Utah. Our climate is very dry and the extra moisture helps. We bought one at Walmart with a large tank. I think it holds almost a gallon of water. My husband uses it to keep his sinuses moist especially during the winter months.
