Good morning!

Well, I'm here! I hope the rest of you make it, too! Even though I was one of the beta testers, I was in Canada and Alaska sans computer so I really didn't get much chance to check out the new forum. I would like to see the font a bit larger. My poor old eyes just don't focus well this early in the morning.

As I sat down to type this Bill called me. He and Scottie were outside on a potty trip. He sounded concerned like I better hurry. He had found 11 baby bunnies huddled in a depression in our grass. They were TINY - almost newborn. We gathered them all up, put them in a box, and he took them through the woods and let them loose about 10 feet from the back yard of one of the houses in a small development there, close to grass and sprinkler. Hopefully they don't have a dog or a cat. They looked about 3-7 days old.

I think I told you about our bee fiasco of 2 days ago? Where pushing our way through the thick brush in the front woods we got into a ground next and both of us got about 7 stings? Well, Bill's hand really swelled up and kept swelling next day, going up his forearm. I hauled him off to the doctor and doc thinks he has something else going on in his hand that stings precipitated so he got a butt shot (bill couldn't remember what it was) and a week of antibiotic. He looks a bit better this morning.

We are eating light, anticipating a big meal tomorrow for Bill's birthday. So I think a small salad and poached eggs will do fine for us this evening. How about you?

Good morning from slightly overcast, getting warmer, SW. Pa....I'm here, I think. :D Will have to give the new format a chance but so far, not really liking it....The other seemed more personal, more friendly......

Mary, sorry to hear about your adventures in the woods, Yikes! Years ago, I remember Jim getting bitten when he'd be out mowing and run over the bee that had nests in the ground....Most of the time, he'd then dump gas in the hole and light it.....But, they sure can be nasty and hopefully, Bill's hand/arm will feel better quickly.....And Mary, I agree about the font, it could be a little larger...Also see that posting pictures is to be easier but will see if I can master it, one of these days....I was just thinking, I finished the "Zoo" quilt, wrapped it up and forgot to take a picture and also forgot to get a picture of the cross stitched wedding sampler....I'm really loosing it, big time!

Not sure what I'm going to get into today...Was to go to lunch but one of the gals has the nasty summer ailment that seems to be making it's rounds in this area, so we'll wait until next week....I still have my back porch/patio to power scrub and today would be a good day to get myself good and soaked, also....I could do my upstairs cleaning but Baby Girl has decided to take her nap early and I sure wouldn't want to disturb her, heaven forbid.....

Not sure what I might have for dinner, although those poached eggs sound good...Yesterday, after bingo, Ruby (the car) stopped at Subway and it was delish...The day before, Ruby stopped at KFC so today, I'd better stay home, she's getting out of hand....But, I did get a big watermelon and I've finally picked some ripe tomatoes so I could actually eat healthy today, maybe......
But, hopefully, the day will be productive.......

Today would have been my sister's hubby's 82nd birthday...Having no brothers, he was my "big" brother and he was big! He was also 2 weeks older than me and always referred to "older than me"...But, now, I guess I'll end up being the older one, darn!...He was loved by so many and is really missed.....

You all have a great day......

Happy eating..................

Good morning!
Oh goodness Mary, I hope Bill is ok! Awww baby bunnies! Can they survive on their own?
I have my leg treatment in about an hour.
I'm not sure about supper, it's been so hot I feel blah about food and cooking. I'll check back later and see if any of you are having something I want 😊😊

Good morning ladies,
I, too, am looking around the site. Figured out a few things, but like Irish, not quite sure yet, but will play around. Been a really busy summer here, as you all seem to be also. Weddings, trips, and bunnies, and I think I read something about turtles, but not quite sure what that was about!
It is very hot, hot, hot here. I went out yesterday and this morning for only about a half hour or so, trying to find my DH's flower beds....he doesn't appear to have much interest this year, and they look very bad....I don't want to stay in them too long, am allergic to most things out there, so take the benedryl, go really fast, then into the shower. If it starts bothering me, I guess I will quit, and just suggest to mow over them and be done....
Tonight, Missy B thinks it is time for chili dogs, so guess that will be supper, I will maybe make a pot of mac and cheese, some of them just like the hot dogs, no chili, others, chili, no hot dogs.....everyone likes something different. I have chips too, and brownies, so if they can't find something, probably aren't really hungry!
Have a great day ladies.....Becky

Good morning!

Mary - ouch! Bee stings are no fun! Sarah is very allegic to them. Glad Mr Bill got a shot and is feeling better. Our Pest control guy is here right now, spraying the area for yellow jacket nests in the ground. You do have adventures!

Irish - it didn't take l9ng for Ruby to learn the right roads and stops! We got the Highlander washed yesterday, for free, and right next door is a KFC and she turned in there too. The car wash place is brand new and during the grand opening thiscweek, all washescare free.

Becca - stay as cool as you can in this heat! We don't have the humidity, so when we top 100, it isn't too bad.

Tina - good luck with your leg treatment today. Hope you get relief.

My vertigo has subsided quite a bit, but is still there if I move wrong. Hence, staying still!

Dinner - we will see how I feel later today. The car may find its way to someplace. We do need to pick up Michael's other suit from the cleaners this afternoon. He has two, and now both are clean.

Enjoy!
Jana

Hi ladies I am so confused at site. I keep looking around. I am trying one of the drop downs above text box. the one that says normal. I hit large to see if font changes LOL I am typing in the brackets it set so we shall see.

I went back out to normal so we can see if a difference. Mary bet bill got a Cortizone shot in butt. Tell him watch spot. Some times the cortizone will eat up the fat in that area and cause a divit in his cheek. LOL It happened to me once but the fat came back LOL and brought some friends

Dinner tonight is gonna be shrimp and fries. Yummy. I love seafood.

Well thought I would check in here to see what all you ladies were up to. Hugs

Hi Everyone,
If you want your font big all the time try using the browser font. I have three dots in upper right corner below the close button. If you increase the percentage to say 150% it makes the font larger. Just my two cents.

We are having forbidden food tonight with mashed potatoes and vegetable.

Have a nice evening!
