Supper Club. Thursday, june 20

Post by purrfect-lady » Thu Jun 20, 2019 12:16 am

Good morning.

Still at DB’s. Big burger bbq last night. He has a big and wonderful family and they are all supportive of his situation with their mom. My sis flies home today and we will be on our way tomorrow morning.

Chickie, Leave it to you to happily take on another project someone. What sweetie you are! I bet that quilt beautiful!

Jana, I remember the high chair days! They came just before the mopping days if I remember right! Lol!

Becca, I missed where you found out the twins gender, but I’m guessing it’s going to be a boy and a girl. How fun for your whole family !

Irish, I see you have been smooching on that baby Lena again! Been thinking of you a lot this week

Tonight for supper will be just Gene and Bill & I. We have so many leftovers so I don’t think supper will be a problem.

Got to run!

Good morning! The sun is shining, the pond is calm, and temperatures are on the rise! Summer is arriving! With the 2 inches of rain we had night before last, it will be steamy. I will be Mom sitting this afternoon.

I’m not sure what a sweetie I am, Mary, just have a hard time saying no to people I care about. I’m pretty sure I will be doing walking foot quilting either 1/4” from seams or in the ditch. Unless… I may try to mark it a little and do some free motion, however it’s pretty large for me to maneuver on my machine.

Yesterday I finished the free-motion quilting on the placemats and table runner. I just have to adjust my machine, do the straight line quilting on the parts that get straight line, then do the binding. I have the napkins made. I know Susan will be pleased. I received the packet yesterday with the genealogy information yesterday. There were a couple of surprises in it as far as relatives I had no idea existed. I’m going to try to look up more information later this summer, or make it a winter project.

Dinner here will still be leftovers. I love not having to cook!

Bon appétit!

Good afternoon!!

That sequin sewing job is now completed! Oh am I glad that Sarah never did dance! Never again will I put sew on bling on anything! I hate hand hemming and sew all my buttons on by machine, never again any sequins! Even though I do sew my bindings down by hand. ow Ican play with stuff I want to do!

Dinner - well the leftover Nachos didn't make it to the plate last night, so I don't have to cook, we will eat them today.

I am tracing a bunch of my appliques for four patriotic skinnies. I have all the fabrics pulled, ready to fuse them. Michael is outside the Batt Cave window, running he weed whacker around the window wells. It makes it so much nicer to see out and not see tall grass!

Well, time to scoot,

Enjoy!
