SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, June 1st

Good morning!
Can you believe it? June! Seems we were just marveling at the 20" of snow we got in 3 days and now we're waking to sunshine at 0500! Time moves fast!
Yesterday Vicki was out burning the last of her boards. Later we saw her hosing down the ashes. She still has some mental sharpness. We wonder how her summer is going to go.
Also yesterday, after doing 2 loads of laundry and packing fridge I got my 30 sailboat blocks all cut out. Everything fit into a cigar box. Maybe tomorrow, Sue and I will set up our machines on a picnic table and sew together . . I know she is bringing a project, too. We will have two nights with them.
BECCA - How is your BP when you take it at home? Do you take it regularly and document it to show the doctor when you go into the office? I would miss my walking buddy, too, if one of us moved. We've been walking together for about 12 years. Before we met, I walked alone but listened to audio books. But I didn't have to watch out for bears!!
CHICKIE - I would sure have loved to see that award winning quilt! Little Deuce is a hoot! And you're right - what a travelin' man he is! It's a deal! When we're little old ladies you and I can live together and take in little old cats and dogs! Last night I was thumbing through our RV Magazine and there was a photo of - wait for it - people at a corn hole tournament!! Who knew!!
LORI - I love cherries, too, and we simply eat them fresh. I'm not into pitting enough cherries to make anything. But I've learned to limit myself! Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing! lol!
IRISH - as I hung laundry yesterday, there was an eagle making lazy circles in the sky high above us! Of course, my first thought was of you. My second thought was to make sure Foxy wasn't out and about!
I have a large, cooked chicken breast that we grilled last night that I plan to turn into chicken tacos. I made a pasta salad yesterday so I believe we're set for our supper tonite. Yum!
Have you got an idea yet?
