Good morning!
First, love and hugs to our Irish as she and her family suffer yet another loss. She wanted me to let y'all know and also that she will probably be MIA for a while as family gathers.
Our friends are leaving this morning. In fact, as I started typing this post I heard their big diesel pusher start warming up. I believe they just need to hitch up and they will be on their way. We might be able to meet up with them someplace in Alaska later this summer. It's been a good visit and dinner last night was on their nickle. We sat at the patio at water's edge and ate pasta. Such a nice evening.
We leave in 3 weeks so we'll start our own packing soon. In the meantime, I got out a panel of a fox that I've had a for a few years and am making some bear paws and tree blocks to lengthen it to lap quilt size. We will give it to our Oregon friends, Bob & Betsy, as a trailer-warming gift.. They just got a new Arctic Fox trailer.
Today I'll be doing wash and hanging it out on the lines. I love doing that but so often we can't due to weather. We're to be in the 80's for the 3rd day in a row.
Supper will be leftover swiss steak made into soup or hash or pasties. Bill's choice. it's purrfect grilling weather but we need to eat up what we have before we bring out new food.
Happy supper!
